"Is something wrong?"
Obvious puzzlement filled Angel's eyes. Under normal circumstances, if Laplace had obtained intelligence, she would not have appeared so grave.
Though the others did not know Laplace well, her unusual reaction still made them sense that something was amiss.
Laplace looked at Angel. A faint halo seemed to flow in her eyes, clearly showing that she was still contemplating something.
Only after several seconds did she softly say, "There are indeed some points about the Ghost Domain Stone's abnormality that are worth examining closely."
Having said that, Laplace paused. Rather than continuing on to explain what exactly needed examining, she changed the subject. "Not long ago, my clone questioned Granny Dragon Raven and Blood Calamity. From them, I obtained two pieces of intelligence."
"First, Ghost Domain Stones are indeed unique to the Dark Mirror Domain. Moreover, their true name is indeed 'Ghost Domain Stone.'" Laplace looked at the Mirror-Holding Banshee. "You know the Ghost Domain Stone's true name, but it seems you do not know much else about it."
The Mirror-Holding Banshee furrowed her brow, seeming to ponder something. After several breaths, she shook her head. "It seems I was born knowing the name Ghost Domain Stone. But I truly know nothing about the rest."
Laplace watched her steadily for several seconds, then said flatly, "Perhaps this is a kind of shared memory originating from the Dark Mirror Domain."
The source of shared memories was generally connected to powerful beings who had transcended beyond.
Perhaps the Dark Mirror Domain had once possessed a transcendent, powerful existence that had branded certain memories into the world will of the Dark Mirror Domain. Thereafter, all Mirror Ghosts born in the Dark Mirror Domain would unconsciously gravitate toward this information and obtain varying degrees of intelligence according to their own circumstances.
