After Angel agreed.
Laplace immediately used an "eye movement" command to drag the Text Panel before her.
Then, rather than using another "eye movement" command, Laplace switched to "manual" operation with considerable ceremony. She extended a slender, pale finger and lightly tapped one row of text.
"Reward: Glutton's Banquet."
At Laplace's touch, tens of thousands of written symbols surged forth like a tidal wave, instantly enveloping her.
Laplace's body, surrounded by those symbols, slowly began to dissipate.
Just as Laplace was about to vanish, she reached out and touched Angel.
The surrounding symbols seemed to sense something and swept Angel into them as well.
The next second, Angel's vision went dark.
Then came a slight sensation of weightlessness.
By the time that feeling faded, Angel was standing on solid ground. Opening his eyes and looking ahead, he found himself before the gates of a manor.
Laplace stood beside him, gazing at the manor ahead. "This is... Glutton's Banquet."
After Laplace had perfectly cleared that collaborative Instance, Wonderland Authority had used the power of "text" to create an identical space and grant it to her as a reward.
This was Angel's first time entering it.
As he looked around at every flower and tree, whenever he fixed his gaze on something, floating text would appear.
