Without a doubt, Gray Porcelain was a talent.
Both Angel and Laplace knew it.
For Laplace, having someone like him come to her of his own accord was excellent news.
"Did he come to you simply for protection? Or did he ask for anything else?" Angel asked curiously.
Laplace said, "Protection is the only thing he's explicitly asked for so far. But from the way he talks, I can tell he hopes to join the Dream Mirror organization. I pretended not to notice and haven't given him an answer yet."
"As for his request for protection, I did respond to that."
She had made Gray Porcelain her assistant, helping her complete the catalog of Wonderland Instances.
At this point, Laplace couldn't help adding, "I have to say, sorting through the Wonderland Instances has been much easier with his help. And..."
"With Instances we'd already discovered, he can sense their danger level from their crystal constructs. That's saved me a great deal of work too."
Gray Porcelain had his own insights into several Instances in Rabbit Town, for example.
"Silver Coral Island"
One look at the Little Treasure Pagoda on Silver Coral Island was enough for Gray Porcelain to say the Instance posed little danger.
Even during the trials inside the pagoda, anyone who didn't recklessly court death would be in no great danger.
He did, however, faintly sense danger in the seas beyond Silver Coral Island.
That "danger on the open sea" was actually Golden Coral Island, Silver Coral Island's advanced map. It held a more formidable Treasure Pagoda: the Large Treasure Pagoda.
To unlock the Golden Coral Island map, someone first had to clear all 120 floors of the Little Treasure Pagoda.
No one had cleared it yet, so Golden Coral Island remained hidden in mist beyond the island,
