Hearing Laplace's conjecture, Gabriel pondered it carefully for a moment.
"It does seem... that there really is such a possibility."
"Before I entered the space within the Curse Mirror, I did possess the talent of the Dark Word Spirit, but the curse's effects were far from ideal. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't."
"Yet during the years I became the Curse Mirror's mirror spirit, my cursing ability steadily grew stronger, and instances of it failing rapidly decreased... I had assumed it was the Curse Mirror's amplification effect, but after the Curse Mirror shattered and I escaped from Mirror Space, my cursing ability did not diminish. So..."
The Curse Mirror's curse effects really might have fused with Gabriel's Dark Word Spirit!
The more Gabriel thought about it, the more likely it seemed.
"So my special talent was brought out of the Curse Mirror... no wonder..."
Gabriel muttered to itself, as though it had come to an understanding.
Gabriel felt that it had truly made the right choice in coming to the Dream Crystal Plain. Not only had it joined Dream Mirror and resolved its greatest hidden danger, but it had also learned clues about its own talent from Dream Mirror's members.
If Laplace had not said those things today, it likely would never have realized that its talent had once evolved, and that the cause was the sacred vessel, the Curse Mirror, which had once imprisoned it.
"Now that I think about it, the past few decades spent sealed within the Curse Mirror do not seem entirely bad." Gabriel murmured softly. "Not only did I gain intelligence with Raguel's help, but the Dark Word Spirit also evolved."
In the past, Gabriel had thought the Curse Mirror was its calamity.
Now, it seemed the Curse Mirror had clearly been its fortuitous opportunity!
