After bidding Angel farewell, Zuniga did not leave Fourteenth Town immediately.
Instead, he paid a visit to the Wandering House in town.
When he came out of the Wandering House, he had an extra bag in hand, one holding paint cans.
He then followed the main road all the way to the crossroads.
This was the busiest intersection in Fourteenth Town. Behind him lay the road he had come from, along with a branch of the Wandering House; straight ahead were the central square and the commercial street; to the left was the glittering Red Alley, and to the right was the wealthy district.
Anyone who lived in Fourteenth Town, or came here to conduct business, would almost certainly pass through this intersection.
Zuniga glanced around and quickly spotted a blank wall.
He walked up to it and murmured softly, "Dan."
As his voice fell, a magic book appeared out of thin air. A streak of illusory light flew from the book and merged into the paint can.
A closer look would reveal the faint outline of a graceful female figure within that illusory light.
But the figure quickly blended into the paint.
Once the paint can began giving off multicolored light too faint for ordinary eyes to discern, Zuniga picked up a brush and began painting graffiti on the wall...
His earlier trip to the Wandering House had been to apply for permission to paint graffiti.
In just ten minutes, Zuniga had created a brilliantly colored piece of graffiti on the blank wall.
The dazzling background had no particular meaning; it was merely there to add a sense of motion. The centerpiece of the graffiti was a red-lipped woman crowned with golden waves.
