"Do you need me to help inquire about your friend?" Angel asked softly.
A gleam flashed in Luolun's eyes, but it dimmed in an instant. After a moment of silence, he slowly shook his head. "Forget it. I've already forgotten most of my main body's memories. As for the 'me' of yesterday, let it fade away with the forgetting."
Perhaps whenever he recalled the past, it was always veiled by a hazy layer of gauze, as though he were looking at someone else's memories. Thus, Luolun was not particularly attached to the past.
What was past should remain past.
"As for Where Are the Magical Beasts?, it was actually compiled rather well. I had thought before that once I had a more complete Illustrated Encyclopedia of Magical Animals, I would make it public and pave the way for those who came after."
"Since Ancient Riverbank did this for me, then it can be considered..." Luolun hesitated before saying in a near-whisper, "the fulfillment of one of my wishes."
Not long after his words fell, Angel suddenly spoke—
"But even if Where Are the Magical Beasts? continues to be published, it will be difficult for it to ever become complete. For instance, they have no way to record the magical animals in Dreamland Zoo, nor can they record Fashion Demonic Beasts like Hertz."
"But you can."
Angel paused. When Luolun looked up at him, he continued, "So I believe your wish has not truly been fulfilled. Your Illustrated Encyclopedia of Magical Animals can still continue to be organized and perfected."
Luolun said, "Then what you mean is..."
Angel's gaze swept around the room, taking in the various Wizarding World magazines on the shelves before finally settling on Luolun. "Don't you think Dream Crystal Plain is lacking a bit of cultural cultivation?"
