Time turned back several minutes.
"The Singers and the Featherwood Clan... They came to Rabbit Town too?" Surprise flashed in Rabbit Girl's eyes. "Are they planning to enter Sandbox Wonderland as well?"
Angel remained calm. "Let's hear what they have to say."
"Hear?" Yifuda looked at Angel, puzzled. "Sir, do you mean I should send someone down to eavesdrop?"
Angel raised an index finger to his lips in a shushing gesture. Then, under Yifuda's astonished gaze, a breeze sprang up around them.
"Listen to the wind."
As his words fell, the breeze swept up dust and spiraled into the air.
It carried the hushed conversation between the distant Singers and the Featherwood Clan along with it, drifting past their ears.
They were a hundred meters away, yet when the wind reached them, the conversation sounded as clear as if its speakers stood beside them.
Neither Rabbit Girl nor Laplace showed any change in expression. They took the strange phenomenon in stride.
Yifuda felt a ripple of surprise.
But the conversation carried on the wind soon drew her attention elsewhere...
"They really are going to Sandbox Wonderland?!"
Rabbit Girl was the first to break the silence after hearing the whispers in the wind.
"So we'll be competing against the Singers and the Featherwood Clan?"
Angel raised an eyebrow. "What? Worried we can't beat them?"
Rabbit Girl shook her head without hesitation. "I'm not worried about that. They've only been here a day. How could they compete with us? I just... find it a little strange."
"Their conversation felt disjointed, and they kept talking about someone called 'Ms. Gosha'..."
"But where is Ms. Gosha?"
Rabbit Girl's question puzzled Yifuda and Laplace as well.
They had mentioned Ms. Gosha more than once. From their conversation, it was clear they trusted her deeply.
