As for whether Evening Dream Cloud Harbor, the place behind the "Window," was a world that truly existed?
Angel had yet to find an answer.
The crucial information about the "Window" had sunk deep into the sea of Authority Information. Looking down, he could see nothing but a dense tangle of whirlpools. Unless he wanted to gamble with his life, he could not dive through the whirlpools and dark calamities to retrieve it again.
He had no choice but to give up searching for the answer.
In truth, though, Angel already had a tentative answer, even without another search.
First, the task prompt from the "Window" closely resembled what was recorded in the Dark Corner Guide, hinting at the "Window's" true nature. Second, the name "Evening Dream Cloud Harbor" was itself a clue.
For Dream Crystal Plain to connect to a real world, one firm condition had to be met: the target world needed to contain at least one of three forces—dreams, Nightmare Illusion, or the Mirror Realm.
Those three were the fundamental forces from which Dream Crystal Plain was built.
Dream Crystal Plain also needed one of those three forces as a foothold to extend its authority into another world.
For example, anyone who entered the Dark Corner through the Modern City Instance could only remain on levels bearing the "Dreamscape" prefix.
Only those levels contained the power of dreams.
The same principle applied here.
If Evening Dream Cloud Harbor was a real world, it had to meet that condition too.
Angel had never heard of Evening Dream Cloud Harbor, but a place's name generally meant something. Perhaps "Evening Dream" meant the power of dreams existed there.
