That was when Angel's gaze swept over the hero statue. A crowd had gathered around it, discussing something. On closer inspection, he realized the statue had changed.

Originally, the hero statue had depicted a proud young man standing tall, shield in one hand and sword raised high in the other.

Green vines had wound around the statue, lending it a sense of age.

The statue itself had not changed, but the vine wrapped around it had suddenly grown
