Angel turned and left as though he had made up his mind about something... He had decided to get out of there before Ms. Gosha's intuition picked up on anything.
The Instrument World has a platform for the Star Sea Train. That means a Miracle has recognized it.
Those had been Ms. Gosha's exact words.
By that logic, the Dream Crystal Plain was currently in a state where a platform both was and was not about to be built.
If Angel gave the nod and agreed to build a platform on the Dream Crystal Plain, would that mean he, too, had become... a Sequence Bearer?
He had only just denied, in all sincerity, that he was a Sequence Bearer. Yet as he was leaving, he realized he might actually become one.
The strange feeling left Angel struggling to contain his surprise and doubt.
So he could only make a quick exit.
If he stayed even a second longer, Ms. Gosha's intuition might catch on.
He was not afraid of her knowing. He had simply denied it so firmly earlier that admitting it now would be embarrassing.
Best to leave while he could.
Though Angel had left, he did not withdraw all his illusion nodes. He recalled only some of the free-floating nodes around Ms. Gosha. He left behind the "mental conversion voice device" and the "movement-assisting tools and conveyances" he had constructed from illusion nodes.
Otherwise, given Ms. Gosha's physical condition, she would still be confined to Magic Flute's body.
With the illusion constructs he had left behind, she could at least move about freely.
It was Angel's way of repaying her for the information.
After leaving the Crystal Hotel, Angel checked the time and decided to visit Modern City.
He would continue learning the craft of creation from Lila.
