There were no clocks in the Travel Cabin, but there was a miniature hourglass. One turn lasted half an hour.
So when Kemei decided to activate the illusion node and play Misty Moonlight in half an hour, the hourglass was placed on the table.
They silently waited for the moment to perform.
Meanwhile, Angel took the opportunity to make another trip to Rabbit Town and meet with the newly awakened Qiu Ka.
His main purpose was to discuss Qiu Ka's dream journey and see whether, compared with Darkman's experience, there were any new variables.
Unfortunately, Qiu Ka's experience held nothing unusual. It differed from Darkman's only in minor details, and in the end, both had come to grief in the pure white room.
Angel consoled Qiu Ka before returning to the Mist Swamp Instance and reopening the Box Garden view.
By then, only a small pinch of silvery-white sand remained in the hourglass on the table. By his estimate, around twenty-eight minutes had passed.
"Almost time." Kemei looked from Uriel, unconscious on the sofa, to the hourglass that was nearly empty. He seemed incredibly busy, though no one knew what he was busy doing.
"Your head's bobbing around like a roly-poly—looking here, looking there. You're making me dizzy." Blanche pressed a hand to her forehead.
Kemei said somewhat sheepishly, "I'm just worried..."
Blanche rubbed her temple one-handedly as if she had a headache. But the next second, she snapped open her tightly shut eyes, pushed up a pair of nonexistent glasses, and said in Rever's tone, "Hmph. Worrying blindly is the limitation of mortals."
"Rest assured, my deductions cannot be wrong. Mortals need only carry out my strategy..."
After saying that, Blanche suddenly froze. "Rever doesn't seem to have ever looked down on mortals. That's Charles's favorite villain catchphrase... Damn
