Three types of thorn roses, with more than a dozen derived variants.
These were the special dream plants the Thorn Rose Witch could create!
More precisely, they were derivatives produced through the interaction between the Thorn Rose Witch and the Witch's Cottage. The Witch's Cottage was the essential soil in which thorn roses were born, while the witch was the soul that allowed them to grow.
Neither could exist without the other.
"Flower Moon Fairies come every day to tell you stories just to spur the growth of Drunken Thorn Roses?"
Moon Dew nodded. "Yes."
"Does this forced growth affect you in any way?" Angel asked with concern.
Moon Dew froze for a moment, then shook her head. Her expression held a touch of gentleness and docility. "If it is only Drunken Thorn Roses, then there is no real effect. That is because Drunken Thorn Roses are dream plants that appeared in the fairy tale The Sleeping Thorn Rose Witch. Though they are very special, since they are inherently part of the story, the price of their growth is almost entirely borne by the Witch's Cottage."
Of course, the Witch's Cottage did not bear every last consequence. A tiny portion still fell upon the witch, but those effects were so slight that they vanished completely after a single night's sleep.
So, generally speaking, if she only cultivated Drunken Thorn Roses, the effects could be ignored.
"This can actually be tied to the story?" Angel was rather surprised.
Moon Dew nodded. "Of course. Fairy-Tale Dreams are self-consistent. No matter how bizarre a prop may be, it can appear again and again within a Fairy-Tale Dream."
Fairy tales could make all impossible things possible.
But only things that had originally existed within the story.
Angel listened in a daze. It even involved
