"Okay!" Cocorosa did a quick calculation. Once she was sure the Dawn Points would basically cover every Flower Moon Fairy, she agreed without hesitation.
But Angel gave no response.
Cocorosa looked over in puzzlement and found his gaze fixed on Moon Dew.
Granny Tang was looking at Moon Dew too, though she shot Cocorosa a helpless glance from the corner of her eye.
Only then did Cocorosa realize that her own agreement did not matter. What mattered was whether Moon Dew agreed. After all, Moon Dew would be doing the work...
Cocorosa's cheeks reddened slightly. She pressed her lips together and said no more.
After thinking it over, Moon Dew said to Angel, "Big Brother, wouldn't this be too much trouble for you?"
She looked at him with concern.
Moon Dew was young, but even she vaguely felt that this was unfair. They were the ones asking for help, yet the terms Angel offered seemed to favor them instead.
Angel smiled. "Don't worry. It's no trouble."
For one thing, he was genuinely curious how the next stage of Luigi's main quest would unfold.
For another...
"I'm always curious about ways to exploit a bug."
"Exploit a bug?" Moon Dew and the others looked at him in confusion.
Angel did not explain. "Just a bit of slang that doesn't matter. Think of it as using the spear of one authority to strike the shield of another."
A spear and a shield?
At first, no one understood his answer. It sounded rather obscure. But after turning it over in their minds, they began to sense a deeper meaning.
They could not quite put that meaning into words yet, but they vaguely understood what Angel meant.
Angel looked at Moon Dew. "Later, I'd also like your help testing a small bug. You can
