After Cocorosa announced the details of the quest, she made a point of thanking Angel.
Angel waved it off. "No need to thank me. You would've received the quest sooner or later anyway."
"True," Cocorosa said, "but your reminder saved me a few spots. There's no denying that."
With that, Cocorosa glanced at the figures on the Text Panel.
Quest Objective 1: Prepare transcendent cuisine for at least one thousand Challengers. Current Progress: 0/1000
Granny Tang's eyes lit up as she caught on. "That's right! Now that you've accepted the quest, everyone eating the Honeyheart Mushroom Trio later will count toward the total."
The Honeyheart Mushroom Trio was a Common-Grade Dish, so it could advance her progress.
There weren't many guests present. Once Nalis and Lianlian, who weren't Challengers, were excluded, only sixteen remained.
Against a target of one thousand, that was a drop in the bucket.
But it was a start.
Besides, Cocorosa no longer had the Ascended Seasoning Technique. Under the circumstances, she probably wouldn't be able to make any more transcendent cuisine for a while.
Which meant those sixteen guests would likely remain her entire progress for quite some time...
"If you hadn't helped me activate my Dream Registry User status in time, my first quest would've been stuck at zero for ages." Cocorosa sighed. As a Gourmet Wizard, making transcendent cuisine was her trade; staring at a zero would have bothered her. Angel's reminder, and the sixteen points of progress to come, had given her a little heart.
"Is the quest difficult?" Moon Dew asked curiously.
Cocorosa rubbed her chin. "In the real world, I could finish it in minutes. But here... yes. Very."
