Angel gave a helpless, bitter smile. It was talent again. Yet even now, he still did not know what his talent was. When he asked his cheap mentor, the man stubbornly refused to say a word, claiming he would tell him only after Angel became a wizard apprentice.
But the prerequisite for becoming an apprentice was a Guidance Method! He did not even know which path he should choose.
Sigh... Angel felt that if things continued like this, his future looked deeply worrying. Whether his talent was good or bad, what benefits it could bring him, and what gains it could bring Sanders—he could not make sense of any of it.
Angel lay muttering to himself on the bed. After a long while, he turned over. Facing the empty room, he let out a deep sigh.
In truth, upon carefully thinking it over, and connecting all of Sanders's various remarks, it was not difficult for Angel to arrive at the answer.
Sanders had given him three choices, but could he choose either of the first two? Or rather, did he dare choose them?
Sanders had made it very clear: "Your talent is very special," "My arts are closely tied to the Nightmare Realm," "You must choose carefully." Wasn't that revealing something?
Looking at it from a sunnier perspective, perhaps Sanders truly intended to give him three choices, with no hidden meaning behind his words. But Angel was absolutely certain that the choice Sanders most wanted him to make was undoubtedly the last one

Angel did not know what Sanders would do if he did not choose it.
Be disappointed? Abandon him? Pretend he did not exist? Perhaps that would be the best-case scenario.
Or let him fend for himself—or worse, force him down the
