Angel returned from the Nightmare Realm with new insights and objects, then arrived at Savage Cave with the other gifted recruits. He was assigned to the mysterious-side illusion school, confirmed as Sanders’s disciple, and moved into a protected villa after rejecting the unsafe cavern rooms.

• Sanders and Angel escaped the Nightmare Realm as a distant attacker shattered the Stairway of the Hanging Prison, and Angel returned carrying two paintings and several objects.
• Sanders discovered that Angel had memorized the Singularity Scattering Meditation Method, and Angel chose to learn it so he could eventually save Jon.
• Angel confirmed that his Holographic Tablet recordings had survived and found that Shepherd Milking had replaced a portrait that was absent from the original footage.
• The gifted recruits reached Savage Cave, where the Tree Spirit Lord tested them and recommended Angel for the mysterious-side illusion school.
• Angel learned that Sanders was recorded as his mentor, while Nausicaa, Serum, and the others received mentor invitations or assignments.
• Angel rejected his unsafe cavern room, followed Sanders’s Falcon Demon to Demon Illusion Island, and rented a protected garden villa in 8th Apprentice Town.

Angel worked through the Singularity Scattering Meditation Method, survived an assassination attempt, and became a wizard apprentice. As Sanders’s Wizard Garden neared completion, Angel joined Serum and Nausicaa on their way to Demon Illusion Island to await the opportunity it would bring.

• Angel moved into a villa in Apprentice Town and, after seeking advice from Sanders and Book Elder, used the Nightmare Realm wall recording to reveal and brand his spiritual power.
• Angel learned about Baruba’s dangerous bloodline and his intended fate, then delivered him a copied Guidance Method and began calculating the Singularity Scattering model’s coordinates.
• Angel’s friends Serum and Nausicaa advanced into apprenticeship while he worked on the model, and Baruba and Nausicaa stopped an assassin sent against him.
• Sanders told Angel that Sky Mechanical City’s Wizard Garden would open in a year, while Angel continued calculating the model instead of advancing immediately.
• Angel used the Holographic Tablet’s optimized coordinates to form the Myriad Phenomena Axis, locate the singularity, and construct the model’s first channel.
• Angel absorbed primal magic power and became a wizard apprentice, then went to Demon Illusion Island and met the apprentices gathered to observe Sanders’s developing Wizard Garden.
• Angel registered as an apprentice, studied and tested cantrips, and suffered spellcasting backlash that left his mind space needing up to half a month to recover.

Angel learned alchemy and crafted enchanted weapons before beginning his Sky Tower climb. He advanced rapidly through the floors, drew attention from hostile contestants, and was summoned by Gude’s lord after puzzling over Li Zhixi Liu’s transformed water.

• Angel survived the gale on Demon Illusion Island, watched Sanders form the Gravity Garden, and learned that Toby had comprehended a gravity law pattern.
• Angel registered Nausicaa for Sky Tower, then studied metallurgy and learned to craft and enchant alchemical weapons.
• Angel gave Nausicaa the frost-enchanted Bear Claw, which she named Single Butterfly, before preparing to climb Sky Tower himself.
• Angel entered Sky Tower as Milk Baron and defeated Black Jack, Ash Warrior, and other opponents with his Mechanical Wrist Crossbow and Toby’s help.
• Angel and Toby ambushed four pursuers, killing Biluosi and Pundongo before David and Master Promi arrived and the Chloe brothers fled.
• Angel advanced through the first and second floors, won forty points in three days, and sold David plans to market his alchemical weapons.
• Angel defeated Li Zhixi Liu after her water ribbon changed form, then struggled to understand its properties before Gude summoned him on behalf of his lord.

Angel climbed the Sky Tower while refining his illusions and fighting increasingly dangerous opponents. After defeating Parasite Maiden in a battle for control of his soul, he was rescued by Sanders and woke at Sanders’s home, fearing he had lost his Sky Tower points.

• Sanders taught Angel the basics of illusion magic, and Angel learned that Gloria and Sprout had vanished into a passage leading to the Nightmare Realm.
• Angel continued climbing the Sky Tower, improved his illusions, and made Toby a music box using Echo Flowers.
• Angel defeated Saka, resisted Sylvia’s soul attacks, and began wondering why they had barely affected him.
• Angel advanced through the tower, using rune arrows to defeat Mondo and Toby’s gravity ability to defeat Selena Walton.
• Angel killed Shepherd Fox after exposing his revenge plot, then fought Parasite Maiden and was drawn into a mental battle over his body and soul.
• Angel’s gray mist resisted Parasite Maiden’s spores, and he regained control before Toby killed her body, leaving Angel badly weakened and the arena crowd furious.
• Promi and David got Angel out of the arena, but Sanders arrived at Promi’s shop, took Angel and his belongings, and brought him home.
• Angel woke in Sanders’s home, found that his crossbow and pistol were missing, and feared his absence had cost him all twelve Sky Tower points.
