After sabotaging the Princess’s plans and returning the rescued group to Old Potter, Angel reported to Iron Armor Granny, who revealed that Witch Maya’s prophecy had shown the gifted ones arriving at Savage Cave.

• Angel entered Princess Town with Dox and Abruie, contacted Old Potter, and learned that Lady Mero might be among the prisoners awaiting transfer.
• Angel infiltrated the castle prison, found Lady Mero, and rescued her and the gifted ones, including Sibyl and the badly injured Amisha, whom he healed with Sunlight Garden.

Angel and his companions traced the Hero Squad’s tunnels to an underground hall and followed a lectern’s trail to the Wandering Merchants. The lectern’s Uisu markings linked the exploration to the Noah Clan, and the group returned to the underground church to search for more clues.

• Angel followed a One-Eyed Wraith’s trail to Mia, who revealed that the Hero Squad had dug tunnels into the Third District, and her help led him to the group’s hidden cellar.
• Angel and his companions entered the underground base, where they found a hall surrounded by a vast magic energy array and discovered demon blood from a missing lectern.
• Angel learned that Raven’s cane had been made from the lectern and tracked the Wandering Merchants to a Magic Artisan who had refined its desktop into a wand.

Angel and his companions restored the labyrinth’s magic array, followed clues through its dangerous underground passages, and identified the Stairway of the Hanging Prison as their destination. They reached its guardians, who let them pass but refused to answer questions about Abyss City.
