Angel left Borderlands to earn more Dawn Points, while the Pointed Hat Magic Workshop group entered the new realm and discovered Dream Trapping Authority. Its ability to enable cross-world descent astonished Juanjuan, and Luigi and Juanjuan both considered how to earn enough points to use it.

• Angel left Borderlands with 74 Dawn Points and returned to clear Dream Bubbles before trying to exchange for Dream Registry Permission.
• Blanche noticed a second orb in the Pointed Hat Magic Workshop, and she, Luigi, Juanjuan, Glaimo, and Ligota entered Borderlands and admired Dawn City from Cloud Cliff.

• Angel observed the exhausted middle-aged man walking through a wasteland and discovered that he anxiously sped up whenever anyone came alongside him.
• Angel learned that the man felt compelled to keep moving because he had to provide for his pregnant wife, Nali, and his daughters, including Si'er.
• Angel asked when the man would stop, and the man said he would only stop after he died.
• Angel used a Sickle to make the man believe he had been beheaded, then led him through an illusion of the afterlife and into Dawn City.
• Angel earned 256 Dawn Points, bringing his total to 830, and decided to return to exchange them for the Dream Registry and Dreamfall.
• Angel told the confused man that he had been reborn and encouraged him to rest; the man began exploring Dawn City as Angel left.

Angel waited for Moon Dew to wake so he could ask whether she wanted to remain in Dawn's Dream before using Dream Registry Permission. Meanwhile, Juanjuan and the Sun and Moon Wizards discussed ways to bring the Drunken Thorn Rose into reality and decided to earn Dawn Points for Dream Trapping Authority before the flower dissolved.

• Angel obtained the tangible Dream Registry Permission badge and learned he could use it only on Dream Guests currently in Dawn's Dream.
• Angel saw that Moon Dew was close to waking, chose not to disturb her, and waited beside her with the Drunken Thorn Rose.

Angel, Camilo, the Sun and Moon Wizards, and Moon Dew gathered as the defeated hounds became a twisting black mist. Moon Dew identified the creature as a newly born native dream beast constructing its understanding of itself, but the group still needed to find a way to attack it.

• The girl in white prepared to be eaten by the hounds, but Mr. Sun and Ms. Moon defeated the pack before it could harm her.
• The hounds melted into black mist, and Angel arrived with Juanjuan as Camilo and the girl in white recovered nearby.
• Camilo explained that he could identify the dream beast’s low energy level but could not determine its nature or current transformation.

Moon Dew explained that the native Dream Beast could either be fought after it finished reconstructing its understanding or redirected into an initial form, though nobody knew how to influence it. Camilo revealed that the beast had been the white-dressed girl’s dream companion, Nalis, and the girl explained how she had imagined her dead puppy back into her lucid dreams.

• Moon Dew said the Dream Beast’s reconstruction time depended on its luck and the Dream Power around it, which was now scarce.
• Moon Dew described a possible way to prevent the creature from becoming an ordinary Dream Beast, but admitted she only knew the method from a story Butler Gelin had told her.
