Ch. 1901Living as a Sword

Angel and Sanders escaped Sin World and discussed the Extreme Sect’s role in the Wizarding World before arranging Bobota’s place in the Dream Wilderness. Back in the ruins, Angel examined Bobota’s detailed Soft-State Worm notes and found a personal message on the final page.

  • Sanders explained that the Lord of Profundity could not recover useful information from Bobota’s erased memories, easing Angel’s fear of being targeted.
  • Angel and Sanders discussed how the Extreme Sect served the world’s will as a weapon and debated the consequences of its eventual decline.
  • Angel told Sanders that Bobota’s consciousness had been placed in the Ocean Theater to assist Jon, while Sanders assumed he would help with New City’s construction.
  • Angel and Sanders left the Planar Corridor for Windmill Town, where Sanders returned to Puppet Hospital and Angel went back to the ruins.
  • Angel released Bobota’s Soft-State Worm nest and cultivation notebook, then found a personal message on its final page.

Ch. 1902Desk

Angel sent Bobota’s old desk into the Dream Wilderness, then reassured Sparrow Sparrow that she would meet her brother again and learned she might soon visit Savage Cave for the tea party. He joined Sanders and Frod in the misty forest, where they discussed Sanders’s impending attempt to bear an authority and encouraged Frod to try bearing one related to dream creatures.

  • Angel used the Dream Conch to send Bobota’s desk into the Dream Wilderness, where Bobota found it and Jon told him to use it as his work desk.
  • Angel told Sparrow Sparrow that Bobota was dead but reassured her that they would meet again, and he guessed she would attend the tea party at Savage Cave.
  • Angel inspected the Soft-State Worm’s Insect Nest and then sensed that Sanders had entered the Dream Wilderness, ready to bear an authority.
  • Angel, Sanders, and Frod walked through the mist-shrouded forest around the Nightmare Domain, where Sanders suggested Frod might be able to bear an authority related to ordinary dream creatures.
  • Angel encouraged Frod to try bearing that authority after Sanders had borne the authority related to energy.

Ch. 1903Beginning the Fusion

Angel and Sanders began fusing an authority from the Nightmare Domain into Sanders, who remained unharmed through the first hour. While they waited, Angel explained the Mother Tree avatar guarding the domain and encouraged Frod to consider taking on a new authority.

  • Angel activated Lucky Moment and used the fusion Green Pattern to send a speck of light dust from the Nightmare Domain into Sanders.
  • Sanders sat against the tree and began fusing the authority as Angel and Frod watched over him.
  • After an hour passed without trouble, Frod asked whether Sanders could succeed, and Angel said there should be no problem unless an unknown variable like Tree Civilization appeared.
  • Angel explained that the tree was an avatar of the Mother Tree that could alert him if anyone entered the area and help protect the Nightmare Domain.
  • Angel asked Frod to consider taking on a new authority and described how an ecological chain could reduce the Mother Tree's burden; he told Frod that Sanders could help calculate the risks.

Ch. 1904Energy Selection

Angel and Frod watched as Sanders endured the final stage of fusing a new authority. Sanders succeeded, and Angel discovered that the authority was Energy Selection, which could construct virtual energy systems in Dream Wilderness.

  • Angel reassured Frod that Sanders was unlikely to fail at the final stage of authority fusion.
  • After several hours, an unknown energy stirred the inert elements around Sanders, and Angel sensed that the fusion was nearing completion.
  • The Authority Tree revealed a newly born authority as Sanders successfully bore it.
  • Angel learned that the authority was called Energy Selection and could construct virtual energy systems within Dream Wilderness.
  • Angel realized that a virtual system could let people use their real-world strength in Dream Wilderness, though cultivation there could not improve their abilities in reality.

Ch. 1905Magical Power System

Sanders explained how his Energy Selection Authority could create an energy system in the Dream Wilderness and how it worked alongside Energy-Level Restriction. He concluded that the two Authorities might originally have been one, but that their merger would exceed his current capacity to bear.

  • Sanders demonstrated a miniature firework trick created with a shallow energy Domain Field and said he still needed to research how to cover the Dream Wilderness with one.
  • At Firstheart City, Sanders explained Energy Selection to Angel and Frod, who recorded and considered his account.
  • Sanders told Frod that Energy Selection could construct different energy systems, though the magical power system was the most inclusive.
  • Sanders explained that Energy Selection was a prerequisite for Energy-Level Restriction, since entrants needed a corresponding energy system to use extraordinary powers.
  • Sanders said the two Authorities might have been split from a single energy Authority, but a merger would be too much for him to bear.

Ch. 1906Greater Expectations

Sanders explained that Dream Wilderness could become a real world and revealed his greater expectation: it might offer a path toward creating a world. He left Angel pondering whether the ancient passage’s final line described a realm beyond legend.

  • Sanders said that establishing the magic system would enable Infinite Alchemy and other material-consuming research through the Dream Conch and Dream Wilderness.
  • Sanders decided to stay at Pat Manor while he worked on the magic system, and Angel asked Frod whether he had made up his mind about bearing an authority.
  • Angel told Sanders to calculate the capacity for insect- and beast-related authorities, and Sanders agreed that Frod seemed a promising candidate.
  • Angel and Sanders reached Pat Manor, where Head Maid Mana reminisced beneath a white oak tree, and Angel instructed the staff not to disturb Sanders.
  • Sanders told Angel that Dream Wilderness was an incomparable opportunity, then connected an ancient wizard’s passage about the Path of Choice and a domain of laws to the wizard realms of true knowledge and legend.

Ch. 1907Framework

Angel reflected on whether the Dream Wilderness could someday help him reach the Miracle realm, then returned to studying Green Pattern. In the Dream Wilderness, Sanders used his Energy Selection authority to construct a framework for a magic power system and prepared to check whether it had succeeded.

  • Angel considered whether condensing a rudiment of a world was required for the Miracle realm and whether the Dream Wilderness could eventually become one.
  • Angel set aside his speculation about the distant future and resumed analyzing Green Pattern in his notebook.
  • Sanders reviewed his research on magic power systems and spent about twenty hours developing an optimal framework.
  • Sanders activated Energy Selection and briefly viewed the Dream Wilderness from outside its Box Garden, sensing a halo around it.
  • Sanders turned his ideas into a magic power system framework and withdrew from Energy Selection after checking it for errors.

Ch. 1908Energy Revolution

Sanders successfully established a framework for primal magic power in the Dream Wilderness, beginning an energy revolution. At Crownstar Cathedral, Lapuye and Asethos sensed the same mysterious creation and planned to investigate it on Stargazing Day while keeping watch for the Budding Believers.

  • Sanders confirmed that primal magic power had spread through the Dream Wilderness and tested a walnut-sized amount, equivalent to a level-zero cantrip.
  • Sanders returned to his research, intending to strengthen the magic power system and transform the Dream Wilderness.
  • Lapuye sensed a familiar stirring in the distant void, and Asethos contacted him with the same premonition of a great creation that could change the Wizarding World.
  • Lapuye and Asethos agreed to use Stargazing Day to investigate the mysterious creation.
  • Lapuye reminded Asethos that the Budding Believers might have infiltrated the Southern Region's Wizarding World, and Asethos agreed to keep the matter in mind.

Ch. 1909Virtual Magic

Angel discovered that Sanders had established the foundational magic framework in Dream Wilderness and tested the resulting Virtual Magic. He concluded that it enabled spellcasting only within Dream Wilderness, where even formal wizards remained limited to an apprentice-level supply of magic.

  • Angel confirmed that Lord Rhein would visit the ruins for Stargazing Day and decided to enter Dream Wilderness to check on Bobota.
  • Angel sensed primordial magic in Dream Wilderness and found that his spiritual force could extend beyond his thought space there.
  • Angel examined the newly lit Energy Selection authority and saw that Sanders had built the basic framework of the magic system.
  • Angel tested casting spells and comparing magic between Dream Wilderness and reality, concluding that Virtual Magic worked only in Dream Wilderness and vanished when he left.
  • Angel determined that wizards in Dream Wilderness could currently store only novice-apprentice amounts of magic, and that Angel and Sanders controlled the system's key restrictions.

Ch. 1910First Outing

Angel finished researching virtual magic power and decided to visit Bobota. After Jon sent Bobota out to explore Firstheart City, Bobota reached Skyvault Tower, encountered demon hunters from the Sin-Hunting Group, and was invited inside to meet Young Master Tisen.

  • Angel spent five or six hours studying virtual magic power, found he could use only level 0 cantrips, and decided to see Bobota at sunset.
  • Bobota logged out of the Mother Tree Network and questioned Jon about its purpose, while Jon debated whether to explain the Dream Wilderness to him.
  • After a breeze whispered to Jon, Jon sent Bobota outside to explore Firstheart City and suggested he visit Skyvault Tower.
  • Bobota walked through the city, noticed its unusual architecture and residents, and eventually arrived at Skyvault Tower.
  • Several imposing people left the tower, and Bobota realized they were not ordinary mortals after seeing one person's monstrous afterimage.
  • A young woman identified the group as demon hunters from the Sin-Hunting Group, recognized Bobota, and invited him to meet Young Master Tisen.

Ch. 1911Hidden Departments

Bobota toured Skyvault Tower with Rachel and learned that its upper floors housed Firstheart City’s most powerful figures. At the top, he found Frod and Angel, who discussed how Bobota’s connection to his original soul had not fully disappeared and whether it could expose the Dream Wilderness to the Lord of Profundity.

  • Rachel showed Bobota the open offices in Skyvault Tower and explained that concealed departments such as the Sin-Hunting Group operated elsewhere.
  • Rachel told Bobota that Knight Sabel had left City Lord Meng Lu’s floor and warned him to stay quiet near her domain.
  • Rachel led Bobota to the tower’s top floor, where she said Young Master Tisen was the only person he could meet.
  • Bobota entered the room and recognized Frod as a former Hurricane Tower apprentice and Angel as Lord Pat.
  • Angel and Frod observed that Bobota had not fully transformed into a Dream Realm resident because traces of his original soul remained.
  • Angel told Frod that the Lord of Profundity could not use Bobota’s connection to find the Dream Wilderness, since Bobota’s consciousness spark had separated from his soul.

Ch. 1912Three Kinds of Contracts

Angel offered Bobota three contracts in exchange for answers, and Bobota chose the Winged Folk Oath. Angel then explained the Dream Wilderness, leaving Bobota stunned by the possibility that his conscious light could continue living there indefinitely.

  • Angel presented Bobota with the Tower Oath, the Winged Folk Oath, and the Luo Oath, explaining that stronger contracts would grant access to deeper secrets.
  • Bobota rejected the Tower Oath and chose the Winged Folk Oath because it prevented Angel from actively harming him while allowing him to keep living.
  • Bobota swore the Winged Folk Oath with Angel, who then revealed the origins and nature of the Dream Wilderness.
  • Angel explained that people could persist in the Dream Wilderness as sparks of conscious light, and Bobota realized this might offer a form of eternal life.

Ch. 1913Her Change

Angel gave Bobota hope that he might one day see his sister, Sparrow Sparrow, and told him to keep working under Jon. On his way to visit Sanders, Angel encountered Toby, Tulas, and Mandhaila in Firstheart City, where he saw how Mandhaila had changed since entering the Dream Wilderness.

  • Bobota asked Angel whether he could see Sparrow Sparrow again, and Angel said there was still a chance without promising when it would happen.
  • Bobota vowed to give everything to see his sister, but Angel told him to continue his duties under Jon and said he could ask Frod questions.
  • Angel noticed Sanders had emerged from seclusion and flew toward Pat Manor using the authority of Celestial Change.
  • Toby flew into Angel's arms wearing a silkworm outfit made by Mandhaila, whom Angel saw had become less gloomy after working as Tulas's assistant.
  • Toby chose to stay in Firstheart City, and Angel continued on toward Pat Manor while Tulas dragged Mandhaila off a building.

Ch. 1914Stargazing Begins

On Stargazing Day, Witch Maya and Dodolo traveled to Crownstar Cathedral’s Stargazing Hall, where Dodolo planned to use Mystery of the Starry Sky. Angel arrived at Pat Manor to discuss Virtual Magic with Sanders, but Sanders told him to return to reality because stargazing was about to begin.

  • Witch Maya warned Dodolo not to reveal anything unusual when Mystery of the Starry Sky activated and cautioned him to distinguish useful visions from irrelevant ones.
  • Tuvalu of Deep Sea Song mocked Dodolo’s ability to obtain a prophecy and told Maya he would charge a price for sharing information.
  • Witch Maya and Dodolo reached the Stargazing Hall and entered it together.
  • Angel arrived at Pat Manor to discuss Virtual Magic with Sanders, but Sanders told him to return to reality for Stargazing Day.

Ch. 1915Rhein Arrives

After Angel returned from the Dream Wilderness, Sanders arrived and revealed the Tree Spirit’s hidden incarnation beneath a stronger illusion. Lord Rhein then joined them at the ruins and invited Sanders and Angel to inspect them after Stargazing Day.

  • Sanders found Angel’s concealed illusion node and covered it with an opposing illusion that revealed the Tree Spirit’s incarnation.
  • The Tree Spirit complained to Sanders and Angel that Liana and Rhein had pressured him to provide a place for private tea parties at Yuli the Witch’s Watchgrounds.
  • Rhein approached the ruins by moving in harmony with the wind, and Angel recognized his profound understanding of the Wind Sequence.
  • Rhein invited Sanders and Angel to inspect the ruins after Stargazing Day, while Sanders suggested they wait for the day’s results and Rhein noted that Deep Sea Song was also investigating.

Ch. 1916The Mystery of the Armor

Angel leads Rhein, Sanders, and the Tree Spirit through the relic and reveals that a suit of knight armor had appeared in a corridor where Rhein and the Tree Spirit remembered nothing being present. After examining the ordinary armor, they are left wondering whether it came from the relic’s hidden room or was brought in by someone during the centuries it was sealed.

  • Angel guides Rhein, Sanders, and the Tree Spirit through the dark corridor, where they discuss its looping mechanism and the relic’s rumored hidden room.
  • Angel recalls that he found an empty suit of knight armor arranged like a person in the corridor and suggests it may be connected to the hidden room.
  • Rhein and the Tree Spirit say no armor was there when they sealed the relic, so Angel recounts how he discovered it.
  • Angel takes the others to the study, where they inspect the disassembled armor and find it ordinary apart from its damaged magic patterns.
  • The Tree Spirit wonders whether the armor came from the hidden room or whether someone entered the sealed relic and left it there.

Ch. 1917Eleven Observers

Maya brought Dodolo to Crownstar Cathedral for Stargazing Day, where the Observers scrutinized him and discussed his unusual past and ambition to catch up to Angel. Eleven Observers gathered, and Lapuye began the ceremony by activating the Mystery of the Starry Sky.

  • Maya led Dodolo into the Stargazing Hall, where Shikel greeted her and watched Dodolo pass.
  • The Observers examined Dodolo but could not see through his past, and Shura criticized his lack of humanity while Ivan defended his view of fate.
  • Lapuye praised Dodolo's progress and urged him to share any visions he saw, while Dodolo revealed his determination to catch up to the Transcendent Dimension wizard.
  • Six more Observers arrived, bringing the gathering to eleven, and Lapuye signaled Shikel to close the doors.
  • Lapuye activated the Mystery of the Starry Sky, and Stargazing Day began.

Ch. 1918The Taste of the Void

Angel, Sanders, the Tree Spirit, and Rhein investigated the mysterious knight's armor in the sealed ruins. Rhein's Eye of Truth detected traces of the void on it, suggesting it had arrived from outside through an unknown passage and might have come from a hidden room.

  • The Tree Spirit proposed that the knight's armor came from a hidden room or was brought into the sealed ruins by an outsider.
  • Rhein manifested the Eye of Truth and explained that the level-three spell could reveal traces of the armor's history.
  • Rhein used the Eye of Truth to find that the armor's magic patterns had been cleaned and that the traces carried a faint taste of the void from around a hundred years earlier.
  • The Tree Spirit concluded that an outsider had brought the armor into the ruins, but Rhein said the hidden-room theory could still be true.
  • Sanders reasoned that the outsider may have entered through an unknown passage from the void, leading them to suspect an undiscovered passage or room in the ruins.

Ch. 1919Search Again

Angel, Sanders, Rhein, and the Tree Spirit deduced that the knight armor had entered the ruins through a hidden passage, probably brought by the ruins’ first owner. They began searching the ruins while Rhein pressed the Tree Spirit to open an internal space in the Eternal Tree for the tea party.

  • Sanders, Angel, and the Tree Spirit reasoned that the knight armor’s recent arrival meant someone had used a hidden passage, and they judged the first owner of the ruins the likeliest person to have brought it inside.
  • Rhein set aside speculation about the first owner and proposed a thorough search of the ruins; he used the Eye of Truth, Sanders sent out Demon Falcons, and Angel spread his spiritual power through the ruins.
  • The Tree Spirit complained to Rhein about Liana’s plans for the tea party and argued that opening an internal space would injure him and risk the Life Pool.
  • Rhein offered to guard the Life Pool and argued that the Eternal Tree could recover from the backlash within one or two years, while the gathering would bring important benefits to Savage Cave.
  • Rhein insisted that the Eternal Tree was the only suitable venue in the Mirror World, leaving the Tree Spirit still reluctant to open an internal space.

Ch. 1920Eye Contact

Liana and Rhein agreed that the tea party would take place inside the Eternal Tree, while Sanders silently suggested to Angel that they might use the Dream Wilderness as its venue. After Angel and Sanders found nothing unusual in the ruin, Rhein reported that the Eye of Truth had detected no one entering after it was sealed, apart from Angel.

  • Liana and Rhein decided to carve out a tea party venue inside the Eternal Tree because no other suitable location offered the same control over information.
  • Sanders exchanged a meaningful look with Angel, who guessed that he was proposing a small-scale opening of the Dream Wilderness for the tea party.
  • Rhein noticed the silent exchange between Sanders and Angel but chose not to pry into their plans.
  • Angel searched the ruin with his spiritual power, and Sanders sent the Demon Falcon through every area, but neither found anything unusual.
  • Rhein used the Eye of Truth to search the ruin and reported that, besides Angel, nobody had entered after it was sealed.
