The star system where Sea Star was located had once been as lively as the Gintama Star system.
It too had been home to several planets.
But ever since the miracle of the "Five Stars Unification" descended last June,
this stretch of starry sky had become exceptionally empty and desolate.
Lord Imu, seated upon the Empty Throne,
had used supreme power utterly beyond mortal comprehension
to forcibly wrench the other five planets—"metal, wood, water, fire, and earth"—from their orbits
and brutally merge them into Sea Star itself.
As a result, Sea Star was now left alone, orbiting the sun.
Fortunately, five satellites of vastly different appearances and functions silently remained by its side.
The first was the "First Moon," where Marine Headquarters was located.
It was now simply called the "Sea Moon."
When it appeared in the night sky, it gave off the gentlest silver glow.
Then there was the "Red Moon," made by Imu from vast quantities of Red Line, where Army Headquarters was located.
Its moonlight carried a faint crimson tint.
There was also "Pluton Moon," formed by merging Sea Star's original seven small satellites.
It now served as the World Government's largest arms-production base,
specializing in the manufacture of warships, fighter craft, mechs, and other large-scale heavy weaponry.
It was also known as "Pluton."
However, people often joked that its ordinary moonlight was actually just artificial lighting.
With the help of the Digital Race and the Mechanical Race,
the industrial chain that nearly covered its entire surface operated around the clock.
Lighting facilities for researchers and workers were everywhere as well.
Then there was the "Magic Moon," from the Zero Magic World, which continuously supplied magical tides to the entire globe and was revered by all mages.
And the "Demon Moon," the "Demon Spirit Star" pulled from
