Han Li was originally a disciple of Yellow Maple Valley and became acquainted with Luo Hong while seeking resources for Foundation Establishment. He traded a six-hundred-year-old Righteous Qi Lotus for the Qi Harmonizing Pill formula, establishing the pragmatic, mutually beneficial basis of their relationship. 43

He and Luo Hong later remained connected through repeated exchanges of techniques, materials, and information. Han Li traded Golden Marrow Pills for talisman materials, gave Luo Hong the Great Evolution Technique, and cooperated with him amid the impending sect war. 36 114

After arriving in the Chaotic Star Sea, Han Li continued to cultivate independently while repeatedly joining forces with Luo Hong in treasure hunts, escapes, and conflicts.
