The Ancestor virus outbreak was contained with help from Elizabeth Green and 049, while William organized a new Containment Task Force and launched the Astartes program. After spending time with his family, William reviewed a new case involving a Water Sprite, whom Kolax rescued from ISIS terrorists.

• Carter and Noble Team joined other Spartan teams to attack the rebel camp, then fought through a zombie horde after the Underground Facility released an ancient bioweapon.
• As the virus spread through Iraq, William told Andre that Elizabeth Green could find asymptomatic carriers and 049 could help contain the outbreak, and both arrived to assist.
• Ryan Klozer rescued a girl from zombies before Limit Team saved them, while 049 began developing a vaccine and Green identified infected patients.
• Green helped the UNSC and Umbrella clear infected settlements, and 049 developed a vaccine as Umbrella began mass production and the outbreak came under control.
• William formed the Damocles Task Force with Carter's Noble Team and the Containment Objects 049, Elizabeth Green, and the Nine-Tailed White Fox, while Andre stayed to oversee Middle East security.
• William and Halsey devised the Astarte program using Spartan genetic primarchs, and researchers tested modified subjects before developing Ceramite Armor and Bolter Weapons for the planned unit.
• William spent Children's Day with Halsey, Yelena, and Ivan at a school gathering and mall event, where Andre also joined them with Xiya.
• Kolax infiltrated an ISIS manor, killed the terrorists holding a Water Sprite, and secured the anomaly for Umbrella technicians to transport.

After a deep-sea attack revealed an army of prehistoric Giant Beasts, William and Umbrella mobilized to defend cities around the world. They defeated the dragon beneath Mount Fuji, let Godzilla return to the ocean, and began preparing to acquire Japanese land and revise textbooks in Umbrella-controlled areas.

• Kolax led Shadow Team aboard the Argonautica, rescued twenty-two survivors, and killed the deep-sea Prehistoric Giant Beast 01, while the attack killed hundreds of civilians and Coast Guard members and eight Marines.
• William created the Astartes Legion proposal and, after Halsey warned that the Giant Beasts might be part of a wider threat, sent the Water Sprite to search the Mariana Trench.
• The Water Sprite found an army of Giant Beasts and ravines leading toward the coasts, so William mobilized humanity’s fleets and declared war on the prehistoric creatures.
• Giant Beasts attacked coastal cities, and Ivan, Siya, and Yelena fought Xenomorphs at their Halifax school while Andre piloted Thor to kill the beast approaching the city.
• William deployed fleets and God Bodies worldwide after the first wave killed thirty million people, then sent forces to Japan when a giant lizard was seen fighting Giant Beasts near its cities.
• Mylon and the fleets defended Fuji City as Halsey discovered a three-headed dragon beneath Mount Fuji that was driving the Giant Beasts and nearing its escape.
• John and Carl identified the giant lizard as Godzilla, and William’s forces destroyed the Giant Beasts approaching Fuji City and Odawara City while Godzilla headed toward Mount Fuji.
• The dragon erupted from Mount Fuji and fought Godzilla, but Carl stunned it and four Infinity-class warships destroyed it, after which William let Godzilla return to the ocean and ordered a major Japanese land acquisition and textbook revisions.

After the giant-beast attack, William prepared Umbrella and the UNSC for future threats, recruited Kesha, and visited the growing Astartes program on Minos. He sent Athena, John, and Mylon into the Underworld, where Hades agreed to help return Achilles to the human world.

• William and the officials decided to conceal anomalous phenomena by blaming the giant-beast attack on the Reaper Civilization, and Andre presented Umbrella’s account at a Tokyo press conference.
• William met Kesha, named her, and assigned her to Carter’s Task Force because of her powerful Defense Barrier.
• William and Halsey visited Minos, where Hunk and Kent oversaw training for USS, Ghost Agent, and Astartes recruits.
• William showed the recruits footage of deadly anomalies and explained that some anomalies fought alongside humanity, then arranged for them to meet the Spartans and the Water Sprite.
• William and Halsey considered reviving Achilles to teach the Astartes candidates humility, and Athena agreed to lead John and Mylon into the Underworld to find him.
• Athena, John, and Mylon crossed the Styx, met Cerberus, and reached Hades’s palace, where Hades and Persephone welcomed them.
• Athena asked Hades to let Achilles return to the human world, and Hades agreed to help revive him and travel to the military camp.

Umbrella uncovered Hozette Corporation’s secret Xenomorph research after an outbreak devastated Sirius-4, then brought the infestation under control through evacuation and bombardment. William left Sirius-4 with Hozette’s research data secured, refugees gathered in City Five, and a promise to care for orphaned children.

• Athena convinced Achilles to return to the mortal world and train John and Mylon, and Achilles was resurrected at Minos Island.
• Umbrella’s agents infiltrated Hozette Corporation’s operation on Sirius-4 and discovered a biological spacecraft, Xenomorph eggs, and a laboratory beneath City Seven.
• Xenomorphs escaped into Dome Cities Six and Seven, overwhelming UNSC and Hozette forces and driving the colony toward disaster.
• Hicks and Robert fought to evacuate City Five as William brought Fleet Zero to Sirius-4 and ordered the evacuation of civilians and the destruction of City Six.
• William, Blue Team, and the Shadow Team entered the City Seven hive, retrieved Hozette’s research records, and found captives, Facehugger eggs, and a humanlike Reverse Strain guarded by Alien Praetorians.
• The Endless bombarded City Seven, while Keisha’s Bio-Shield helped Hicks and his team eliminate the Xenomorphs and Facehuggers in City Five.
• William met the refugees in City Five, ordered Serena to erase their memories and recordings of Keisha, and agreed to fund the care of children orphaned by the attack.
• William promoted the colonial agents, and Serena recorded the wounded and sent footage of Hozette’s experiments and the attack’s victims back to the Solar System.
