Background / History

Jiang Yu Ni found Jiang Lin when he was eight years old, starving during a heavy snowfall. She took his hand, brought him to the Sun Moon Sect, and raised him at Twin Pearl Peak, teaching and caring for him more like an elder sister than a conventional master. 639

She taught Jiang Lin the Sun Moon Dual Cultivation Great Art, Twin Pearl Peak's signature technique. His incomplete grasp of its circulation remained an obstacle to his early cultivation. 30

By Jiang Lin's later adventures, Yu Ni had reached the middle stage of the Jade Purity Realm, granting her a lifespan of roughly ten thousand years. 156 She was injured during the conflict surrounding the White Empire, but Jiang Lin believed her involvement had been decisive to their victory; she later returned with him to recuperate at the Sun Moon Sect. 364
