• It and the Vast and Righteous World were once connected. The War of the Gods split them apart, leaving Penglai Province as the sole recognized route between them; Ten Thousand Mile City guards that passage. 434
• The wider cosmology also includes the Daoist Dust Whisk World, Buddhism's Lotus World, and numerous secret realms created or shaped by the ancient war. 434

Society

Strength and Bloodline

The Demon Race World's prevailing principle is that strength decides status, territory, and possession. Violence is treated as the ordinary solution to disputes, and its society is repeatedly described as having few meaningful laws or restraints beyond the strength of one's fist. 305

• Demon bloodline is considered paramount. A noble lineage gives a cultivator easier advancement and fewer Great Dao limitations than ordinary plants, beasts, or lesser demons. 71
• The True Dragon, Sky Fox, and Phoenix are regarded as the Demon Race's three great treasures:
  • True Dragons are recognized as leaders of all demons.
  • Phoenixes possess exceptionally domineering bloodlines.
  • Sky Foxes are famed for peerless beauty. 249
• Pure True Dragons had largely vanished, leaving Niannian/Mo Ye as the surviving True Dragon. Flood Dragons and Teng Snakes continue seeking bloodline evolution, while Phoenixes remain in seclusion. 249 583

Transformation and Mixed Bloodlines

• Demons who reach the Cave Mansion Realm of the Middle Five Realms can generally take human form. Human form is believed to be closest to the ancient gods and more suited to comprehending the Great Dao. 120 269
• Transformed demons retain their original racial preferences while gradually gaining an appreciation for human aesthetics. 120
• Humans and demons can have children, though mixed bloodlines carry both benefits and drawbacks:
  • A Cheng Huang-human child may possess both human and Cheng Huang forms, with complementary realms, but cultivates at roughly half the pace of a pure-blooded Cheng Huang.
  • Flood Dragon-human descendants inherit Dragon Might but can suffer violent loss of reason. 211

Humans in the Demon Race World

• Humans may gain standing through sufficient strength, including the ability to keep demons as subordinates. Most humans, however, lack the cultivation heritage and luck available to demons and are vulnerable to enslavement. 305
• Enslavement is not exclusively one-sided: demon towns are shown with humans enslaving demons and demons enslaving humans. 435
• Wu Su Su's policies in the Ten Thousand Demons Kingdom sought to improve the Human Race's status and redistribute part of the kingdom's luck to human cultivators, drawing fierce opposition from demon vassals. 305

Political Structure

History

Ancient Era

In the Era of Gods, the God Race ruled and enslaved the myriad races. Demons possessed innate bloodline advantages, while humans lacked systematic cultivation and were oppressed by both gods and demons. 621

After humans acquired rudimentary Divine Methods, they rapidly developed spells and eventually became capable of challenging the Demon Race. Human-demon warfare continued for tens of thousands of years. 621

Jiang Feng and Qing Zhu later sought to end that cycle. They supported an alliance between humans and demons against the God Race, shared cultivation methods among the myriad races, and helped bring a century of peace between the two sides. 626

The God Race responded to the growth of the myriad races by forbidding them from surpassing the Golden Core Realm, precipitating the Human-God War. 626 627

Division from the Vast and Righteous World

• The Demon Race World and Vast and Righteous World became separate during the War of the Gods. 434
• Historical accounts describe the Eleven Battle as determining who would inhabit the spiritually abundant Vast and Righteous World. Human cultivators won and chose that land first. 434
• After the collapse of the ancient human-demon alliance, factions disagreed over whether to create a regulated coexistence or a strength-first order. The latter faction lost a subsequent conflict and was driven into the Demon Race World. 434
• The resulting division left demons in both worlds, but the Demon Race World developed around bloodline, violence, and strength, while the Vast and Righteous World developed diverse schools and Great Daos. 434

Conflict with the Vast and Righteous World

The Eleven Battle

A later Eleven Battle was fought not for territory, but between the top eleven geniuses of the Vast and Righteous World's Rising Tides List and the Demon Race World's Primordial Ranking. The losing side had to grant one unrestricted request or sever and surrender its Natal Magical Artifact. 708

Ten Thousand Mile City Campaign

Military Doctrine

• Demon armies use Raising Gu tactics: casualties are accepted so surviving demon cultivators and beasts can gain luck, bloodline tempering, combat experience, and stronger cultivation. 823 971
• Retreat is forbidden during such campaigns; deserters may be executed to maintain the selection process. 971
• Supply lines carry spiritual food, medicine, herbs, and pills rather than merely ordinary provisions. Immortal Realm cultivators may personally escort these shipments. 983 986

• The God Race later seized the Western Barren Region of the Demon Race World while launching attacks across the Vast and Righteous World. 1015
• With the exception of Shen Jia, the remaining eleven Demon Kings joined God-slaying alliances alongside major sects and cultivators of the Vast and Righteous World. 1011
• Chen Bei's Chen Clan Martial Warriors reclaimed one-fifth of the Demon Race World's territory during the war against the gods. 1025
