Background / History

Lin Tuo grew up in his family’s old courtyard after his parents died early. His maternal grandfather, who operated a martial-arts school, raised him and passed down the family’s Weapon Transformation Fist. After the school declined and his grandfather died, Lin Tuo resolved to reopen it once he had sufficient capital. 1 3

After obtaining the Evolution Sandbox, Lin Tuo discovered that he could extract and scale sandbox matter and life, including an Avatar he could directly control. He used this capability to begin body refinement on a perilous Taihe Mountain Range peak, carrying a stone tablet uphill for 58 minutes and 21 seconds while digesting Aether. 8

He subsequently entered the sandbox worlds to guide their development. In the Chi Kingdom, he presented himself as a Sage, taught agriculture, industry, commerce, education, and healthcare, and offered projections for the kingdom’s next three centuries. 11 15 18 On Earth, he spread the Azure Spirit Breath Technique by carving it onto a public stone and later used Aether to accelerate the cultivation of particularly talented practitioners. 24 25

As the sandbox worlds faced cultivation bottlenecks and Spirit Realm incursions, Lin Tuo supplied new cultivation knowledge, organized trials, and established himself as a decisive protector. His breakthrough into the Non-Human Realm enabled him to annihilate the Ghostly Fiends threatening Haizhou. 138 139 144 156 158

Upon learning that the Spirit Realm Empire might target Earth and the sandbox worlds, Lin Tuo chose continued development over stagnation.
