"Once the storm blows over, can I come back and serve you, Master?" Xu Ying asked, his face full of hope.

Taiyi Dao Lord wondered whether the "serving" he spoke of meant genuine filial devotion or causing trouble. After pondering for a moment, he said, "As long as you're alive, you can come back."

Taiyi Dao Lord immediately began arranging Xu Ying's departure. Leaving the Cave Abyss did not require crossing the Sea of Chaos, but he would have to pass through the gelatinous substance between the two universes.

This gelatinous substance resembled frozen space-time. It looked harmless, but was actually perilous beyond measure. The stronger one's cultivation and strength, the more easily one would be trapped.
