The antique alarm clock rang only once.

But from the bed where the two lay side by side, a figure sprang up like a leopard.

"Is it time already?" the girl drawled lazily. "Getting up in the middle of the night feels awful!"

"Revive, quickly!" Cypher answered Aiweng with a Revival Spell.

"How annoying! You really don't know how to please a girl!"

After dealing with that loophole, Cypher returned to his dormitory with Aiweng.

There, Cypher told Aiweng the plot of the movie The Matrix.

Aiweng said the story Cypher had told fit their current situation perfectly.

"I'm the Oracle in the Matrix now, and you're Neo, the Chosen One!"

After getting dressed and taking their wands,

Cypher led Aiweng out of the dormitory.

Outside, the flames beneath the lampshades flickered unevenly.

The Enchanted Paintings on the walls were as motionless as ordinary Muggle portraits.

As they passed the washroom, Cypher finally heard the drip-drip of falling water.

the other spells would be useless. Those intruders were immune to magic.

Since it was deep into the night, Ravenclaw's common room was completely empty.

The great lamp hanging in the center of the ceiling had gone out as well.

Cypher widened his eyes. With the help of the moonlight, he could barely make out the patterns on the carpet.

"What is it?"

As they passed the statue of Ravenclaw, Cypher noticed that Aiweng
