"No!"
Pandora's gaze sharpened as she shouted, "Make way! Let me teach him a lesson, teach that Troublesome Tree a lesson—Richard specifically told me to do this. You can't steal it from me!"
As she spoke, Pandora stamped her foot, crushing the ground into a depression. She hurtled toward Tinwood in the pit like an out-of-control locomotive.
The Eight-Armed Skeleton silently retreated, dragging the Lich Old Man away with it to keep him from getting caught in the aftermath.
Tinwood stared wide-eyed at Pandora and cried out in shock and terror, "Hey, you can't do this! I've already surrendered! You can't... Aah!"
Before he could finish, Tinwood's voice turned into a scream.
When she was over twenty meters away from Tinwood, Pandora leaped into the air, rising more than ten meters high. Then she crashed down, her fist swinging like a meteor as it smashed heavily into Tinwood's trunk, which had nearly become a beehive.
"Boom! Bang!"
"Aah! Crack!"
Accompanied by a long scream, Tinwood's entire trunk snapped in two at the middle and fell silent.
With a "roll, roll," an emerald green tree core rolled out from the break.
The tree core was roughly a dozen centimeters long and six or seven centimeters thick, shaped like a prism. Compared to before, it had grown slightly larger, clearly having developed to some extent. Yet at this moment, its surface flickered with a somewhat desolate green glow.
The area fell somewhat quiet.
Nearby, the Lich Old Man, whom the Eight-Armed Skeleton had dragged away, was now locked in a staring contest with it. Catching sight of the five Bone Spears clutched behind the Eight-Armed Skeleton's back, the Lich Old Man blinked and frowned. "Hey, why do those Bone Spears look so familiar? I feel like I've seen them somewhere before..."
"Slap!"
