Molly walked up to the Giant Mouse, took a deep breath, and her expression grew somewhat solemn as she slowly extended her right hand.
A layer of pitch-black energy covered her five fingers, making them look like five dangerous claw blades fused together.
"Pfft!"
Molly's fingertips touched the Giant Mouse's corpse, then she suddenly exerted force and stabbed inward.
But a powerful resistance met her. Her entire hand penetrated only a few centimeters beneath the skin before being completely blocked, unable to advance even an inch further.
Clearly, the Giant Mouse's formidable defenses were still at work—under everyone's relentless attacks earlier, it had suffered only superficial wounds, which showed just how strong its body was. Although it was now "brain-dead" and its defenses had weakened somewhat, it was still far from something that could be carved up easily.
Molly's expression changed slightly when she saw this. She withdrew her right hand, chose another spot, and stabbed down hard again, only to find that nothing had changed—she was still stopped after penetrating a few centimeters. Her gaze immediately darkened.

Molly could not help turning her head and shouting, "What are you all standing around for? Get over here and help!"
"Uh, yes, yes." Molly's subordinates finally snapped out of it and approached the Giant Mouse's corpse. Working with Molly, they laboriously began cutting into the Giant Mouse's body.
Without question, this was a massive undertaking—the Giant Mouse lay on the ground like a small mountain. Molly and her subordinates had to expend tremendous effort just to cut a palm-sized wound into that "mountain." Then, through the wound, they cast spells to probe inside, searching for the Energy Furnace.
