"Ow, ow, ow! Let go!!" Yuko slapped at Rangiku's arm with both hands, finally wrenching free of the Lightning Poison Dragon Drill. She clutched her head and sucked in sharp breaths.
Rangiku had nearly drilled her brains out.
Rangiku rolled her eyes. "What do you mean, 'auntie'? Haven't you heard of the allure of a mature woman?"
Retsu Unohana chuckled behind her hand. There weren't many captains in all of Seireitei who could fool around with a Vice-Captain like this—or let one perform a Lightning Poison Dragon Drill on their head.
"All right, all right, enough messing around!" Yuko rubbed her scalp and shot Rangiku a resentful look before turning serious. "Time is money! We can't waste it sitting around here."
"Sister Hana! Contact everyone else right now!" Yuko slapped both hands against the table. "Meeting, meeting! Emergency meeting!!"
"Now?"
"That's right! Now!"
"Captain Kuchiki seems to be resting at home today," Rangiku said, raising a hand. "I ran into Renji earlier."
Yuko stared at her. "Huh? What does him resting have to do with—"
Realization dawned, and she said flatly, "We don't have to hold every meeting at the Kuchiki Family estate, do we? Wouldn't here work just as well?"
What exactly did they think Byakuya's house was?
Retsu Unohana considered it for a moment. "That works. Let's do as you say, Yuko."
Yuko shot to her feet and thrust out a hand, brimming with enthusiasm. "Then it's settled! In my capacity as special advisor to the Female Shinigami Association, I hereby call an emergency meeting."
"..."
No one knew what had gotten her so fired up.
Retsu Unohana calmly sipped her tea. "Strictly speaking, your rank doesn't qualify you to call a meeting, but I approve."
"Huh? Even a special advisor doesn't qualify?"
"You're only a mascot."
