• Su Mu guided Chu Feng along the River of Time to the Source of the Strange, where Chu Feng sent Huang the Stone Jar as the ten Weird Progenitors attacked.

• Su Mu froze the approaching flood, defeated Tian Luo and Dao Ancestor Zhengyi, and broke the formation trapping him, then drove off the Green Robe Woman and the nine Monks.
• Su Mu followed Old Man Zero to the Deep Pit and redirected the floodwaters into it, sacrificing countless ruined worlds and their inhabitants to save the river’s channel.
• Su Mu released a surviving carp after the waters drained, while Dong’er’s portrait of Master reappeared and confirmed the crisis had ended.
• The system rewarded Su Mu with the World Splitting Axe and one million Favor Points, and he increased his control over the Long River before reuniting with Nannan and the others.

After raising his River Affinity, Su Mu followed a missing A Fei to a distant lake and met Zhang Ruochen.

• Su Mu brought Yang Yuan and Yang Ranqing to the River of Time, while his household endured the river’s worsening nighttime cold and Xiao Huo sought Wu Zhong’s approval to take a one-armed youth as his disciple.
• Su Mu captured the dragon-horned sheep that became Little Sheep A Fei, then allowed Li Qi Ye to search the river for a month for something he had lost.
• Li Qi Ye offered Wu Zhong help against Tian An God Domain, then joined Li Changyuan in breaching its defenses and killing its leaders before the Shepherd Heaven Alliance arrived to take control.
• Su Mu discovered he could earn Favor Points by repeatedly purifying water polluted by a Bighead Catfish and a Big Lobster, then met Ye Fan, Wu Shi, and Ruthless and gave them Chu Feng’s crystal.

The arc ended with Su Mu answering a summons from Shepherd Heaven Temple as the pilgrims watched in alarm.
