Dumbledore had agreed so quickly that Andrew soon realized he had dug his own grave.
The benefits of being a professor were clearly far better than he had imagined—Professor McGonagall's decision to keep him at Hogwarts had made him so nervous that he had forgotten professors were not actually that busy.
Still, it was no big deal. Working overtime to build a spacecraft was worth it even without pay!
It sounded a little like something a corporate lackey would say, but weren't there people who followed dungeon runs every day like they were clocking in despite how exhausting they were? Building a spacecraft with magic was far more fun than that!
But this was not the time to get busy handcrafting a spacecraft. He had more important things to do—such as pretending he had been admitted to a university.
"Hello, Professor Morgan."
Andrew shook hands with the somewhat portly professor across from him. Judging by the man's still rather thick red hair, Professor Morgan's Potions skills had to be quite impressive. He clearly did not skimp on hair-growth potions.
"Hello, Professor Taylor. It has been a long time since I last came to Hogsmeade."
Professor Morgan studied the decor of The Three Broomsticks, lingering especially over the dream section at the bar before sighing with feeling.
He was deliberately concealing his surprise, because he was too embarrassed to show it in front of this absurdly young intern professor. Even though he had learned about him countless times through various channels, this prospective professor was still far too young.
But never mind being a professor—even if Andrew became Hogwarts' Vice Principal, there would be nothing surprising about it. This young man was a treasure of the entire Wizarding world. Otherwise, the Ministry of Magic would not have specially assigned staff
