Though Randeng's tone remained tough, he had invoked the Sect Master, Venerable Yuanshi. He could put on a hard front, but he was not foolish enough to resist and seek death.
Xian Junyu's cultivation was higher than his. Killing him would be far too easy. With the Sacred Cult behind him, it would be foolish not to take advantage of that backing.
