History

Before the descent of fierce beasts, the Extreme Path Martial Arts Hall was an unremarkable martial arts hall. Its standing changed during the first World Resonance, when the Extreme Dao Martial Saint emerged; the hall subsequently grew into Great Xia's foremost martial arts hall through the strength of its members. 455

The hall became part of the Martial Arts Hall Faction, an elite force detached from ordinary society and centered on Martial Saint Inheritances. Its influence was substantial enough that its martial artists could refuse national conscription, while the authorities remained wary of confronting it directly. 116 135

After fifty years of relative seclusion, the hall entered the National Youth Martial Arts University League. It sent only Ji Wudi as its contestant, reflecting its confidence that a single disciple could overcome full university teams. Ji Wudi ultimately placed second in the individual competition behind Li Ziyu. 121 135 143

The hall later interfered with the Martial Saint Secret Realm by sending second-generation disciple Liu Yang, a Level Six Intermediate Martial Artist, despite the event's age restrictions. Tianwei Xing also wagered the hall's prestige and rare resources on Ji Wudi defeating Li Ziyu in the realm's first stage. 155 156

Its reputation deteriorated further through the actions of its members. Wang Sen used deceived martial artists as bait to draw out a Level Seven Peak Pig-Dragon, while a survivor's accusations that the hall had lured martial artists to their deaths were swiftly removed from public forums. Old Man Bai additionally alleged that Tianwei Xing had an agreement with the Zeroing Cult. 300 308 309 315

Li Ziyu later began systematically targeting the hall's leadership. He killed the Fourth Elder at the Magic City branch, then killed the Third Elder during the Kyoto headquarters incident. Hong Wuji arrived to confront him but was killed, after which Li Ziyu slew a fleeing vice hall master and elder; the hall was left an empty shell apart from its secluded founder. 387 447 455

The Extreme Dao Martial Saint eventually reappeared and revealed that he intended to slaughter tens of millions of people to advance beyond the Martial Saint realm. He was subsequently killed by Li Ziyu during the Five Military Region Competition. 475 488
