• Su Xiao and Jack followed Hanks’s disappearance to Lilith’s Cabin, where a rogue AI trapped the group in hallucinations before Su Xiao defeated it and helped free Hanks.
• Su Xiao learned that Evelyn had vanished after leaving Lizzie’s Bar and questioned a detective who revealed that a hacker had attacked her at Cloudy Peak.
• Su Xiao and his companions infiltrated Cloudy Peak, learned that Woodman had sent Evelyn to Brother Finger, and killed Woodman before erasing the club’s surveillance records.
• Su Xiao and Judy questioned Brother Finger, who said Okada Wakako’s men had taken Evelyn and suggested they planned to make her a Black Market Dream actress.
• Su Xiao bought a Black Market Dream chip from Wakako, and Judy identified its recording as Scavengers forcing a hacker to cross the Blackwall.
• Su Xiao led the group to the Scavengers’ power plant hideout, where they cleared the upper and ground floors but found no sign of Evelyn before discovering an underground entrance.

Su Xiao rescued Evelyn, saved Padre’s gang from internal collapse, and manipulated the Clementi Family and Kiryu Group into war. The Clementi Family fell, Jack became Padre’s successor, and Su Xiao agreed to take Johnny to see Rogue.

• Su Xiao rescued Evelyn from the Scavengers and paid for Trauma Team to treat her, then freed Regina’s missing friend Max from another Scavenger hideout.
• After Padre was ambushed and critically wounded, Su Xiao helped Jack unite the Valentino branches, avoid a fight with NCPD, and prepare for the Clementi Family.
• Jack defeated Blanca in a Trial by Combat, while Su Xiao forced Juan and the other Valentino leaders to promise not to seize Padre’s territory.
• Su Xiao and Lucy attacked the Sixth Street Gang and Tiger Claws, then framed the Clementi Family and Kiryu Group for attacks on each other, triggering a bloody gang war.

Su Xiao joined Rogue’s operation to capture Anders Hellman, then investigated Evelyn’s braindances and the Voodoo Boys’ plans. After the Peralezes hired him to investigate Mayor Raine’s death, he followed River Ward’s lead to The Red Queen’s Race, a club that had closed after Raine died.

• Su Xiao helped Panam recover her vehicle and cargo by defeating the Random Blade Society, then used her guidance to ambush Militech’s convoy and capture Herman alive.
• Su Xiao interrogated Herman about the Relic and Johnny Silverhand, but Herman said Johnny could not be separated from the robot and that Soul Killer was unreliable and painful.
• Su Xiao delivered Herman to Rogue, received ten million, and later watched Evelyn’s braindances with Lucy, V, and Judy, learning that Evelyn had defied the Voodoo Boys and stolen the Relic.
• Su Xiao asked Johnny about Alt Cunningham, then accepted Rogue’s request to investigate the Voodoo Boys and agreed to look into Lucius Raine’s death for Elizabeth and Jefferson Peralez.
• Su Xiao reviewed a security recording of River Ward arriving during an assassination attempt at City Hall, then survived an attack on the Peralezes’ car and killed the katana-wielding attacker.

Su Xiao uncovered that Lucius Raine had been murdered with an infected Braindance headset, but the conspiracy’s mastermind remained unidentified. He established the Dawn Society, rescued Jose and Maria from the Salamanca Group, and escaped San Diego after an airport attack.

• Su Xiao and River traced Horvath’s connection to Raine’s death, discovered that Detective Han had concealed Raine’s murder, and copied the evidence before River withdrew from the dangerous investigation.
• Su Xiao told Jefferson about the murder and secured his help obtaining a private military contractor license, then chose Stone Ridge Mountain as the Dawn Society’s base.
• Su Xiao hired the Aldecaldos to guard Stone Ridge Mountain, equipped them, and received heavy weapons from Rogue and credentials arranged by Jefferson.
• Dante Gonzalez hired Su Xiao, Jack, V, and Lucy to rescue Jose and Maria, then confessed that Jose had killed a Salamanca family member in a hit-and-run years earlier.
• Su Xiao led the team into the Salamanca Group’s house and rescued Jose and Maria, but the group’s airport escape was blocked and they fought through pursuit and assassins on the way to the border.
