• A distant blast shook the shaft, and Moss escaped to the top as it collapsed, leaving the Great Lizard floating belly-up and the Spider Monster climbing into a sewer opening.

Moss hurried toward the World Gate, found unclaimed magic cores, and left Little Ball to collect them. Meanwhile, Li Mengzhang’s force retreated from an undead assault, but a mysterious monster emerged and overwhelmed them with its presence.

• Moss found Spider Monster tracks and reasoned that it had headed toward the World Gate, then continued toward the gate herself.
• Moss discovered goblin corpses with intact magic cores, summoned Little Ball, and instructed it to collect the cores while she went ahead.

Sun Lei and Moss faced a Black Robe whose transformation revealed a gigantic Bone Dragon, a Special B-class monster capable of destroying a city. With the battlefield paralyzed by fear, Sun Lei asked Moss whether they could win.

• Sun Lei attacked the Black Robes’ Magic Shield, but Moss warned him to retreat as the shield shattered and the central Black Robe prepared a counterattack.
• The Black Robe transformed his arm into a massive bone claw, pierced Sun Lei’s abdomen, and hurled him away.
• Moss used a mana core and Healing Spell to restore Sun Lei, who recovered and faced the Black Robe as its body transformed into a towering skeleton.

Moss overcame the Bone Dragon’s pressure and searched for a way to turn the monsters against one another, finding a nearby Snake Den that could provide reinforcements. As she headed there, she helped Wang Xin defeat a Black Robe, while a tide of Giant Snakes surged toward the battlefield.

• Moss raised Mental Attack Resistance to level V, protected Sun Lei and Li Mengzhang, and decided to seek reinforcements rather than flee the Bone Dragon.
• Moss used her enhanced senses to locate a Snake Den three kilometers away and told Sun Lei to hold off the Bone Dragon while she went to draw the snakes toward the fight.

• Moss recalled Little Ball, counted the 279 magic cores it had collected, and embedded ten Silver Rank cores in the cliff wall to make a bomb.
• Moss’s Magic Core Bomb shattered the cliff wall, and thousands of Bronze Rank venomous snakes poured out to attack the monsters fighting the humans.

• The Giant Snake leader’s poisonous rain killed many monsters and corroded Moss’s arm, which she healed before charging into battle.
