• Hu Qi sensed that the outer-sect buildings resembled traps, and Yin Jiuling identified the outer sect as a gigantic talisman that could unleash immense power.
• Lin Bai agreed to deal quickly with any Demon Sect members in the Ice Lake Sea and told everyone to stay alert as they approached it.

• Feng Wenjun shattered Young Master Lan’s Six Strokes Form Kill and unleashed the Myriad Destruction Wind Curse, prompting his parents in the Feng Family to celebrate his enlightenment.

Old Eccentric and the Half-Demon beast held off two pursuers so Lin Bai could fly toward four figures above the clouds who seemed to be directing the fighting.

• Young Master Lan used his blood as ink to paint Feng Wenjun and Shi Jiamu into a deadly world, then vanished with them.
• Lin Xiaoqing, Gu Yuan, Chai Ming, and Lei Chong arrived as Lin Bai assessed the ongoing battles and prepared to confront them.

After Lin Bai won, Lan Yuxin froze space and time, allowing their allies to defeat the Demon Sect’s nine young masters. Skyflower Prince survived and revealed that Senior Ding and the Demon Sect disciples were at Ice Pillar Peak, but Li Jiuge pursued him after Lin Bai ordered it.

• Li Jiuge told the group that he had crippled the woman’s dantian, shattered her divine pill, destroyed her cultivation, and sent her away from the Eastern Continent Academy.

Lin Bai reached the Bronze Gate beneath Ice Lake Sea and found the Demon Seal, but Old Ancestor Ding attacked him before he could take it. After Chen Qin revealed Lin Bai’s identity as the Demon Sect’s final disciple, Lin Bai confronted Old Ancestor Ding over his claim to represent the Demon Sect.

• Lin Bai followed the passageways beneath Ice Pillar Peak to a square where the Bronze Gate stood with the Demon Seal set between its doors.
• Old Ancestor Ding and a man in black arrived, and Old Ancestor Ding struck Lin Bai and sent him flying as he tried to take the Demon Seal.

Lin Bai defended his claim as the Demon Sect’s orthodox successor against Old Ancestor Ding and Qiu Tianci, the last surviving Demon Sect disciple from fifty thousand years ago. When Lin Bai tried to fight Old Ancestor Ding, a mysterious force suppressed his demon flower, and a young man emerged from the Bronze Gate.

• Lin Bai argued that Old Ancestor Ding and Chen Qin were unqualified to call themselves Demon Sect disciples, while Yin Jiuling, the Heavenly Crippled Demon Lord, and the Old Eccentric had far greater talent.
• Qiu Tianci revealed himself as the only Demon Sect disciple to survive the battle against the Divine Sect fifty thousand years ago, and Lin Bai showed his own Demon Sect disciple mark and greeted him as Senior Brother.

After Lord Yuanmo’s remnant soul defeated Qiu Tianci and made Old Ancestor Ding surrender the Gods and Demons Sect’s Inheritance Palace, he explained that Yuanmo himself had died ten thousand years ago. He began revealing that Yuanmo and Yuanzu came from the Spirit Ruins Great World, an upper realm beyond the Barren Ancient Continent.

• Lord Yuanmo reduced Qiu Tianci to ashes and spared Old Ancestor Ding because his ancestors had served the Gods and Demons Sect.

Lin Bai learned that one fragment might remain in the Barren Ancient Continent and resolved to find it before the Giant God Race arrived.

• The White-Robed Youth explained that the Giant God Race had hunted the Heaven Swallowing Race for generations and that the Primal Fiend Ancestor fled the Spirit Realm because she possessed the Devouring Spirit.
• The White-Robed Youth said that Lord Yuanmo and the Primal Fiend Ancestor came to the Barren Ancient Continent to search for fragments that could defeat the Giant God Race, and that three had once been there.
• The White-Robed Youth revealed that the Central Sacred Nation had found one fragment and that Ling Tianzi had taken another, leaving one possibly undiscovered in the Barren Ancient Continent.

After the White-Robed Youth vanished, Lin Bai held the Devil Seal and learned that the Inheritance Palace’s ninth level contained clues about a fragment.

• The White-Robed Youth explained that the Primal Fiend Ancestor founded the Gods and Demons Sect to search for fragments, and that the sect’s forgotten mission led to the war between the Devil Sect and Divine Sect.

Determined to find the remaining fragments and protect those around him, he left Ice Pillar Peak with his companions and returned to Dragon Breeding Island.
