As the Holy Son Battle approached, the Demon Sect invaded the academy to seize its sealed Demon Seal, and Lin Bai set out with Lan Yuxin and Li Jiuge to defend the Outer Sect.

• Lin Bai defeated the Gu Family’s challenge, then spent six months on Contemplation Cliff studying the inscriptions and comprehending additional Intents.
• The Four Hidden Families arrived, and the Kunxu Li Family challenged the Southern Courtyard while Li Daoyuan repeatedly defeated its Quasi-Holy Sons.

Lin Bai and his allies fought through the Demon Sect’s assault on the Eastern Continent Academy and uncovered the truth behind the Gods and Demons Sect and the Giant God Race. After inheriting the Demon Seal, Lin Bai became Sect Master and recruited his companions, while keeping his identity secret from the wider academy.

• Lin Bai gathered allies and raced to reinforce the Outer Sect, breaking through the Demon Sect’s siege of Teleportation Island before its teleportation array was destroyed.
• At Ice Lake Sea, Lin Bai’s companions fought the Nine Young Masters while Lin Bai freed his friends from the bodies occupied by Demon Sect elders and defeated them.
• Lin Bai’s group reached Ice Pillar Peak, where Old Ancestor Ding and Chen Qin tried to claim the Demon Seal, and Qiu Tianci revealed Lin Bai as the Demon Sect’s final disciple.
• Lord Yuanmo exposed Qiu Tianci’s crimes, explained the Demon Sect’s origins and the threat of the Giant God Race, and named Lin Bai Sect Master while giving him the Devil Seal.

Lin Bai won the Holy Son Battle after defeating challengers from every courtyard, including a final succession of his closest rivals. Named the academy’s Holy Son, he prepared to leave for Kunxu while entrusting the Demon Sect’s inheritance to Yin Jiuling.

• Lan Yuxin joined the Demon Sect and entered its Inheritance Palace as the academy crushed the sect’s forces and announced the Holy Son Battle.
• A Ning defeated Jian Kong, and Lin Bai defeated Li Jiuge but spared him and urged him to learn from his defeat.
• Lin Bai defeated the Northern and Western Courtyards’ Quasi-Holy Sons, then watched the Eastern Courtyard’s rivalries end with Feng Wenjun defeating Shi Zhongxian.
• Hei Luo Jian Jiu challenged Lin Bai to a three-sword duel, and Lin Bai won after their final clash destroyed much of Sacred Island.

Lin Bai helped Bai Xiaoxiao bring the Southern Corner’s 180 Domains under Divine Martial Nation’s control and establish the Son of Heaven Palace. He left for Kunxu, but reports of Ye Suxin’s possible return sent Bai Xiaoxiao’s forces toward the Northern Wilderness Domain.

• After Lin Bai left Nine Heavens Island, Fang Yiyun released his obsession and broke through to the Death Reversal Realm, while Lan Ling warned Lin Bai that Kunxu would bring him pain.
• Lin Bai traveled to White Dragon City, learned that Bai Xiaoxiao’s forces had conquered much of the Southern Corner, and returned to Lingnan Imperial City to meet Chu Jiangliu.

• More than a hundred domains pledged allegiance, the Chu Dynasty’s Crown Prince accepted the Manager Token for the Nine Nations Domain, and Sect Leader Sword Reverent agreed to lead the Son of Heaven Palace.
• After a month of campaigning, Lin Bai advised Emperor Xiao on the remaining unsettled territories and prepared to leave for Kunxu to find his parents and face the coming Giant God Race.
• Lin Bai found Ye Suxin missing from her tomb and more than a hundred dead guards, then asked Emperor Xiao to search for her before departing for Kunxu.
