• Lin Bai accepted Ouyang Jing and Tan Jing’s challenge for a match in five months, then joined Fang Yiyun’s group on an Azure Spirit Fish expedition to Crescent Moon Island.
• The Octopus Sea Dragon Beast attacked the group, and Zhang Cangyun offered the disciples as tribute before ordering his followers to kill them.
• Lin Bai rescued Shu Xiang from the sea and drove off the Giant Demon, then pursued Zhang Cangyun with his companions until Fang Yiyun reclaimed the fish and expelled Zhang from the Academy.

• Lin Bai spared Huang Family Head in exchange for his Dragon-shaped Jade Pendant and learned that the eight pendant holders would meet at the Dragon Locking Well.
• Lin Bai traveled to Spirit Abundance Mountain, sold Forbidden-Breaking Sword Qi, and bought Qi Return Pills before the pendant holders gathered at the well.
• The eight holders opened the Dragon Locking Well, where Lin Bai and the others found Blood Demons, a colossal dragon corpse, and a Giant God’s severed arm.
• Lin Bai used the Devouring Sword Soul to break open Dragon Blood Mountain and take three Dragon Blood Crystals, then fought Zhu Jingyi, Lin Yuanrong, and Lan Heng when they tried to seize them.

After defeating Su Ling and Bei Haiyan’s disciples, Lin Bai lost Dragon Breeding Island and faced Li Jiuge’s demand for the Dragon Blood Crystal. He found Bao’er, advanced his cultivation, and earned a fortune refining pills in Black Pill City, where rival alchemists challenged him.

• Lin Bai defeated Tan Jing after Tan Jing injured Shu Xiang, and Fang Yiyun severed Bei Haiyan’s arm when he intervened.
• After returning to Dragon Breeding Island, Lin Bai found it in ruins and fought Zhu Jingyi’s men, but Li Jiuge overwhelmed him and demanded the Dragon Blood Crystal.
• Zhang Xianqi, Lan Yuxin, and Fang Yiyun intervened, and Li Jiuge gave Lin Bai three months to deliver the crystal to Myriad Stars Island.
