• He Yi explained to Lin Bai that scarce immortal jades had stalled his cultivation, and that he had joined the Blood God Sect after it promised the resources he needed.
• Protector Zhao rescued the Lord of Wu En City and fled with him, while Lin Bai was left gravely injured, and back in Mystic Phoenix City, Lin Bai confronted He Chong’s group over their abuse of Tianshui Sect disciples.
• Jiang Zhen brought Lin Bai gifts from Chu Junyou, and Lin Bai recovered while Bai Yifei grew resentful of the prince’s favor toward him.
• Li Guxian visited Lin Bai, then took him to Chu Junyou, where Lin Bai revealed the Blood God Sect’s plan to build a Blood God Sealing Pagoda and warned that a prince backed the sect.
• Lin Bai told Li Guxian that he had uncovered the second stage of her family’s Azure Lotus Swordplay and patiently tried to teach it to her.

As Lin Bai fought the Sect Leader beneath Bone Mountain, the sect sealed Ke Province in a formation that drained the life and cultivation of its people.

• Lin Bai uncovered Luo Cong’s imprisonment and abuse of Chen Yun, escaped the City Lord’s Mansion, and survived Luo Cong’s attacks with the Yellow Springs Demon Bone.
• Bao Heng betrayed Lin Bai’s group into a trap, but Lin Bai defeated Bao Heng’s guards and learned that the Blood God Sealing Pagoda lay beneath the City Lord’s Mansion.
• Lin Bai told Chu Junyou about Chen Yun, and Chen Yule stormed Fengling City to find his aunt despite Lin Bai’s warning that Luo Cong had to remain alive for questioning.
• Lin Bai and Chen Yule broke into the City Lord’s Mansion, found Chen Yun imprisoned and crippled, and fought the Blood God Sect leaders who revealed Luo Cong’s allegiance.

Li Guxian opened Ke Province’s cities to refugees as the Blood God Sect’s Sect Leader awakened and fought Lin Bai. After King Chai Ning killed the Sect Leader and the province’s crisis subsided, Lin Bai faced Chen Yule in a duel that briefly pushed his Azure Lotus Swordplay toward its third stage.

• Li Guxian invoked the Azure Lotus Grace Token and ordered Ke Province’s forces to shelter refugees, while He Qiyun recognized Sentient Wishpower around her.
• Prince Chen’s forces attacked Bone Mountain as Lin Bai fought the Blood God Sect’s Sect Leader inside his sea of consciousness, then summoned his Supreme Avatar and drove the Sect Leader back to his body.

• Prince Chen warned Chen Yun not to target Lin Bai, while Chu Junyou refused to help her save Luo Cong and the Blood God Sect’s crisis in Ke Province subsided.
