Lin Bai helped uncover the Nine Underworlds Demon Palace remnants hiding among the White Bone Sect, then prepared to face the Heaven and Earth Gate’s deadly contest. Guided by Xiao Cangsheng, he forged the Crimson Lotus Sword Intent and arrived at the gate as Qin Mo emerged to challenge him.

• Lin Bai and the Tianshui Sect exposed the Nine Underworlds Demon Palace remnants concealed among the White Bone Sect, but the black-robed elder killed himself in a blast and Liu Mian escaped with the remnants.
• After the Tianshui Sect released its blockade, the Third Prince ordered the Heaven and Earth Gate to kill Lin Bai during its upcoming contest.
• Lin Bai chose to represent the Tianshui Sect at the Heaven and Earth Gate despite his friends’ warnings, and Prince Chen left with Tianshui Sect elders and the captives for the imperial capital.
• Lin Bai persuaded the Tianshui Sect to send him alone, while Xiao Cangsheng agreed to accompany and protect him.

• At Dragon Slayer Mountain, Lin Bai entered the Heaven and Earth Two Gates Nine Tribulations contest and killed the disciples who formed the Earth Gate formation.
• Lin Bai defeated Ge Yuan, took the Thunder Tribulation Token, and fought all eight remaining Nine Tribulations Token wielders at once.

Lin Bai killed Qin Mo and survived a Heaven and Earth Gate ambush, while the two sects moved toward war over the Water Mirror Sea. After entering the sealed sea, Lin Bai rescued the Qin Family from the Zhao Family and learned the Zhao Family was a pawn of the Heaven and Earth Gate.

• Lin Bai defeated and killed Qin Mo with the Astonishing Immortal Sword Intent, then Xiao Cangsheng escorted him away as the Heaven and Earth Gate plotted revenge.
• The Heaven and Earth Gate trapped Xiao Cangsheng’s carriage with the Mystic Heaven Ancient Mirror and sent He Chuang and eight experts after Lin Bai, but Lin Bai unleashed his Heaven Swallowing Supreme Avatar and destroyed them.
