Lin Bai and his companions entered the volcano seeking the Fire Phoenix’s Nirvana Stone, only to be drawn into a plot by the other regions’ martial artists. Lin Bai fought back against the alliance while the Corpse Refinement Sect’s disciple unleashed a powerful corpse demon against him.

• Lin Bai learned that a wounded Fire Phoenix was undergoing nirvana inside the volcano and agreed to join the other regions’ plan to break through the beasts guarding it.
• When the other regions used beast-luring powder to sow chaos, Lin Bai and his companions climbed into the magma, where Lin Bai collected Fire Spirit Crystals and rescued the Crown Prince of Liu from his own greed.
• Lin Bai followed the surviving martial artists to a cavern and found the Fire Phoenix in a blazing fireball atop a withered Phoenix Tree, while the Corpse Refinement Sect’s apparent Holy Son repeatedly attacked it.
• Lin Bai suspected the Holy Son was a corpse puppet and agreed to cooperate with Yun Qianji, but the Northern and Southern Regions blocked his escape and revealed that they wanted to force him to show his Supreme Avatar.
• Yun Qianji and the Western Region joined the trap, and Lin Bai refused to abandon Yi Song and Huang Qingyun as the gathered martial artists attacked him.
• Yi Song and Huang Qingyun fought the Western and Southern Region forces while Lin Bai battled Northern Region warriors and a Grand Yi Corpse Demon.
• Lin Bai used the black withered bone to raise his cultivation, killed Xu Biao and two other Northern Region martial artists, and began cutting through the Corpse Refinement Sect’s corpse puppets.
• The Corpse Refinement Sect’s disciple restored his corpse demon with his blood essence, raising it to Lower-Grade Grand Luo Dao Fruit Realm power and sending it after Lin Bai.

Lin Bai defeated the Corpse Refinement Sect’s Holy Daughter and helped the Fire Phoenix complete its nirvana before entering the Yellow Sand World. There he rescued Chu Tinghan from Meng Lei, and they discovered a living statue beneath the desert as the arc ended.

• Lin Bai killed Gao Tong and helped Yi Song drive back the Crown Prince of Qi Kingdom and Yun Qianji before confronting the Black Veil Woman, who revealed herself as the Corpse Refinement Sect’s Holy Daughter.
• Lin Bai seized the Phoenix True Blood and returned it to the fireball, allowing the Fire Phoenix to complete its rebirth and drive off the Holy Daughter.
• Lin Bai left the volcanic region and entered the Yellow Sand World, where he found weakened Pacifying Heaven Sword Sect disciples and discovered that living sand was draining people’s strength.
• Lin Bai found a hidden passage beneath a statue and overheard Meng Lei drugging Chu Tinghan and pressuring her to marry him.
• At the Chu Emperor’s command, Lin Bai rescued Chu Tinghan, fought Meng Lei and his companions, and escaped with her through the underground passage.
• After the poison affected them both, Chu Tinghan asked Lin Bai to marry her, but he refused and learned that the Northern Soul Refining Sect’s Saint Son had wounded her.
• Lin Bai and Chu Tinghan reached an underground palace with nine passages and a statue of the Yellow Sand Goddess, which came alive and attacked them.

Lin Bai and Chu Tinghan escaped the Yellow Sand World after Lin Bai stopped Shangguan Xiu’s Death Altar ritual, then joined the hunt for the Azure Mist Kun Peng. On the mountain where the beast had its lair, Lin Bai confronted Shen Xinghe, while the Chu Emperor recognized Lin Bai’s Five Elements Dao Body and investigated his origins.

• Lin Bai and Chu Tinghan fought a sand statue, discovered its Mountain Heart, and followed the passages deeper underground, where they encountered Golden Imperial Guards of the Hailong Kingdom of the Sands.
• Lin Bai awakened another statue during his fight with the guards, escaped with Chu Tinghan, and entered the chamber where Shangguan Xiu was performing a ritual on the Death Altar.
• Lin Bai seized the bone tablet to stop Shangguan Xiu’s ritual, then escaped the underground city with Chu Tinghan and guided stranded martial artists out of the Yellow Sand World.
• Lin Bai and Chu Tinghan joined Lu Qingjun to hunt the Azure Mist Kun Peng in Giantwood Forest, where Lin Bai wounded the beast but let it escape.
• Lin Bai led Lu Qingjun and the Seven Absolutes City disciples to a mountain where the Kun Peng had returned to its lair, and Ling Wen exposed Shen Xinghe’s tracking of their group.
• Lin Bai stayed behind to question Shen Xinghe, who declared that war between the Northern and Eastern Regions had begun and attacked him with the Netherworld Hell.
• Lin Bai broke Shen Xinghe’s soul-hooking attacks with the Dragon Slaying Skill, then resisted the Judge of Hell and Yama’s Descent as their battle continued.
• The Chu Emperor recognized Lin Bai’s complete Five Elements Scripture, ordered Eunuch Gui to investigate his Spirit Realm background, and suspected he was the Child of Tribulation.

Lin Bai defeated the Soul Refining Sect’s Holy Son, then gathered Eastern Region fighters as the Northern Region launched its campaign. He helped organize an alliance and established a fortified island camp, then went with Meng Qinxian and Yi Heze to challenge the forces at Great Snow Mountain.

• Lin Bai broke the Soul Refining Banner’s formation and fought the Soul Refining Sect’s Holy Son and his Ancestor’s soul, but the Holy Son escaped aboard a Nether Ferry.
• After learning the Witch Sect’s Holy Son had easily killed the Azure Mist Kun Peng, Lin Bai decided to leave the Demon Realm and return to his family, then headed to the volcano to regroup with his allies.
• Lin Bai gathered injured Eastern Region fighters at the volcano, where Shui Mo Dan’s blood helped heal several allies and Qian Hen reported that the Northern Region’s massacre had begun.
• Jiang Yu admitted he had sold the Northern Region the locations of Eastern Region fighters, while Qian Hen arranged poison antidotes and shared a map of the factions and terrain.
• Lin Bai and Chu Tinghan organized envoys to unite Eastern Region factions, then Qian Hen brought them toward Great Snow Mountain aboard the restored Demon Subduing Warship.
• The Northern Region split into six forces and attacked Eastern Region teams as their leaders rallied scattered fighters, while Chu Tinghan worked to bring Prince Liang’s Estate into the alliance.
• Xiao Gu and other Northern Region fighters attacked Lin Bai’s island camp, but Lin Bai’s group drove them away and recognized the assault as a scouting mission.
• After Qian Hen completed the island’s defensive formation, Lin Bai took Meng Qinxian and Yi Heze to scout Great Snow Mountain, where Meng Qinxian’s challenge was stopped by the Northern Region’s formation.
