• Ji Xiang passed the Demon Sword to Lin Bai and died, awakening Lin Bai’s demonic power before Lin Bai severed the Giant God’s arm and head.
• Lin Bai survived with his Divine Pill, dantian, bones, and meridians ruined, and Bai Xiaoxiao brought him back to Sky Walled City.
• Lin Bai topped the Divine Relic Ridge examination with his Pass Tokens and accepted Pei Ji’s offer to join the Sword Dao Institute in exchange for winning the Hero Ranking.

Lin Bai and Gu Yueqing traveled to Pill King City for Flood Dragon Blood, where they exposed the Five Venoms Sect’s plot against the He Family and refined the Heaven Mending Pill under attack. After restoring his dantian, Lin Bai defeated the sect’s leaders and returned to Divine Relic Ridge, determined to seek Ji Xiang’s Demon Sword in the Primordial Wilds.

• Lu Qingyu recognized Lin Bai’s formula as a King-Grade pill formula and sent him and Gu Yueqing to Pill King City to obtain Flood Dragon Blood from the He Family.
• He Yunfei brought Lin Bai and Gu Yueqing to his poisoned father, and Lin Bai exposed Bao Xuanming’s fraud and identified the Serpent Heart Poison.
• Lin Bai gave He Yunfei the Nirvana Pill formula, and Gu Yueqing refined the pill that awakened Old Master He and revealed the Five Venoms Sect’s involvement.

Lin Bai guided Gu Yueqing through refining genuine Human Sovereign Pills, forcing Chou Yun Kui to honor their wager and kneel. Back at the Sword Dao Institute, Lin Bai reclaimed his residence and challenged the advanced group after defeating Chang Minghui, vowing to pass the monthly examination and beat Wu Enli’s disciples.

• Lin Bai rejected Lu Qingyu’s offer to become vice dean and taught Gu Yueqing how to refine a Human Sovereign Pill.
• At the Pill Dao Academy arena, Lin Bai confronted Tang Zong and Chou Yun Kui, while Pei Ji and elders from other academies intervened before the confrontation escalated.
• Gu Yueqing refined seven upper-grade Human Sovereign Pills under Lin Bai’s guidance, and Lin Bai proved their authenticity by using one to break through before volunteers also advanced.

After defeating Liu Xuan and spending two months in seclusion, he entered the newcomers’ tournament and began hunting in New Green Mountain, where he killed a White Fur Ape and advanced his cultivation.

• Lin Bai accepted Wu Enli’s challenge and, after Nie Xiaoxian taught him Sword Heart Clarity, left an eighteen-inch mark on the Sword Testing Stone to win the monthly examination.
• Dugu Yun told Lin Bai about Ye Jinghong and the Mo Wen Sword, then gave him access to its restricted teachings and a reward for winning the newcomers’ tournament.
• Lin Bai found the discounted Nirvana Sword Manual hidden inside a stone lion and defeated Liu Xuan in the Form and Spirit Arena, winning ten thousand points.
