Nuwa resolved to establish Human Dao, while Hongjun and Di Jun moved against the Human Race, leaving Zhou Qingqing to warn Nuwa and Fuxi as conflict approached.

• Zhou Qingqing watched Six-Eared Macaque climb Eastern Kunlun, caught him when he fell, and saw Tongtian accept him as an attendant disciple.
• Zhou Qingqing healed Six-Eared Macaque’s ears and named the staff he received the As-You-Wish Iron Staff, then sensed Eastern Emperor Taiyi’s breakthrough as he attained sainthood.
• The Three Pure Ones exchanged divine abilities with Taiyi, who later fought Jieyin and Zhunti, destroyed Mount Sumeru, and gave Zhou Qingqing part of it along with Bodhi Tree branches and Bitter Bamboo.
• Zhou Qingqing refined Mount Sumeru into an Overturning Heaven Seal before Nuwa and Fuxi visited Eastern Kunlun to discuss the Human Dao.

Fuxi won Di Jun’s wager and secured a fair chance for the Human Race, but the Demon-Witch war escalated as Nuwa prepared to leave her Heavenly Dao Saint position and pursue the Human Dao. While the Saints fought to protect her, Hongjun secretly merged a false Reincarnation into the Earth Dao.

• Fuxi defeated Di Jun in their contest with Zhou Qingqing’s aid, won the River Map and Luo Scroll, and secured Di Jun’s agreement to let the Human Race and Demon Clan fight on equal terms.
• The Human Race resisted demon attacks as Di Jun resumed the Calamity, forged the Demon Emperor Sword, and led his army against the Witch Race.
• The Witch Race used the Nine Netherworld Passage Formation to hold off the Demon Clan, while Di Jun planned to break Mount Buzhou and unleash floods upon the Human Race.
• Nuwa asked Tongtian to sever her Saint position, and Tongtian used the Four Immortal-Slaying Swords and the Demon Path to cut the Primordial Purple Qi from her primordial spirit.

The Three Pure Ones thwarted Hongjun’s schemes to destroy Mount Buzhou, while Nuwa’s attempt to establish the Human Dao stalled amid the ongoing Calamity. After Mount Buzhou became Mount Zhou, Nuwa turned to forging a sword with the Five-Colored Stones and Qiankun Cauldron as a new path to attain the Dao.

• Jade Pure Primordial Heavenly Venerate purified Gonggong and Zhurong’s minds and stopped them from destroying Mount Buzhou, then defeated Di Jun after he became a Saint and challenged him over the mountain.
• Hongjun used Di Jun to summon the Sun Star toward Mount Buzhou, but Primordial Heavenly Venerate returned it to the Starry Sky Heavenly Realm, and Xihe and Changxi extinguished the resulting Solar True Fire.
• Hongjun sent the Five Elements, Yin-Yang, and Qiankun Demon Gods against the Three Pure Ones, but Supreme Pure Laozi struck the Earthworm within them and the Three Pure Ones destroyed Hongjun’s remaining traces.
