"What happened to the Demon Gods in my 'Golden Supreme Heaven'?"

The reason Roy discovered the truth behind the 'Chimera' was that this evil god from another world had finally exposed herself by taking action.

The Demon Gods who had once been playing and rampaging in Roy's Golden Supreme Heaven had suddenly disappeared.

Under the effect of some unknown force, or perhaps some technique, all the Demon Gods had vanished from Roy's Golden Supreme Heaven as though they had been sealed away.

Even Roy could not find any trace of them.

Even Roy was startled by this result. After all, they were Demon Gods, yet they had disappeared without the slightest resistance.

And this had happened right under the nose of Roy, a Magus.

All the Demon Gods had disappeared, while only 'Chimera' remained. The problem had to lie with this Demon God.

Anyone capable of accomplishing such a great feat—making even Demon Gods disappear—would naturally put Roy on his guard.

Human fear came from the unknown, and this applied to Roy as well.

He did not know how 'Chimera' had accomplished this.

"You'll have to guess, Lord Roy."

The 'Chimera' before him laughed enchantingly and seductively. She giggled softly, producing a sound like a venomous snake flicking its tongue, yet also like a baby crying.

The voice was clearly so eerie that it could shatter a human soul, yet Roy still felt that her laughter sounded beautiful.

Roy did not try to guess what method 'Chimera' had used. He merely said thoughtfully:

"...No wonder I always felt that something was wrong with Gremlin when I crossed the Abyss and became a Demon God. There was an inexplicable discordance in certain places."
