Xiao Wu is a transformed Hundred-Thousand-Year Soft Bone Charm Rabbit with two distinct sets of meridians: human-like meridians that accommodate Spirit Rings and Soul Beast meridians that can create them. This physiology allows her to generate her own Spirit Rings by drawing on her own bodily energy. 324

She grew up alongside Da Ming, the Sky Azure Bull Python, and Er Ming, the Titan Giant Ape, whom she regards as family and protectors. Her attachment to Da Ming becomes a major source of conflict when Tang San vows revenge against him. 53 141

At Shrek Academy, Xiao Wu quickly becomes close to Tang San and meets Tang Jiu during a dormitory spar. Although Tang Jiu defeats her, their rivalry develops into a sibling-like bond after Da Ming and Er Ming accept him as an ally and he declares himself her Ninth Brother. 15 102

Her identity as a transformed Soul Beast makes her a target for powerful Soul Masters. The Narcissus Jade Bone immortal herb makes her appear fully human even to Dragon Duke and Poison Douluo, easing her fear of being exposed. 191

Xiao Wu is later captured or threatened repeatedly by the Clear Sky Sect and Martial Soul Hall because of her value as a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast.
