Chu Mu shouted softly, raising a hand to form seals. Spiritual light and array flags swirled around him, Array Restriction Inscriptions weaving across one another. Several low-order restrictions originally set within the cave were instantly withdrawn and transformed into a Third Order High Grade Forbidden Grand Formation that blanketed the cave.

The commotion within the cave, which had initially been somewhat difficult to conceal, was instantly sealed away completely after the formation was replaced.

He had prepared quite a few formations, most of them portable types that could be deployed in an extremely short time and reused.

Strictly speaking, such things could not truly be considered formations. Within the formation system, formations possessing such qualities were generally called "restrictions." The term "formation" specifically referred to actual arrays.
