Although the Dominion Herrscher arrived earlier than expected, preparations were still underway because Cosmo had not undergone human-made Honkai beast transformation. Most of the warriors had still made preparations because of their previous experience (Huang Hao's prophecy).

At this time, there were also Herrscher individuals among the higher-ups of the Moth to the Flame. However, since most people had heightened their vigilance, there were not too many casualties.

Thus, the higher-ups recalled the important personnel as quickly as possible to prepare for battle.

The poor people had just finished dealing with the previous Honkai, yet they had to return again before several months had even passed.

However, there was one exception: Kevin. Kevin was at headquarters, and unfortunately, Angela's dormitory was separated from where he lived by only one building. Angela was currently undergoing a special form of "human-made Honkai beast transformation." (Mobius had compared the information Huang Hao sent over. It did not count as a human-made Honkai beast transformation, but it could not be called Herrscher transformation, either.) Therefore, the person who had to deal with her first and foremost was Kevin.

Just as Angela was wreaking havoc, Kevin charged over and tried to restrain her.

Although Angela's strength was slightly inferior, she had lost none of Huang Hao's authorities from before, allowing her to fight Kevin back and forth. (Kevin could not even kill a weakened Terrain Herrscher, so it was perfectly reasonable that he could not defeat Angela now, right?)

Kevin knew that this Honkai involved more than one Herrscher. It was a group of weakened Herrschers, but their strength was still not to be underestimated. He could not remain locked in a stalemate with Angela, yet he was currently being beaten so badly that he could not break free.

At that moment, Kevin suddenly remembered Huang Hao. She was Huang Hao's child and had gone through these things as well. He could call him over for help.

However, Kevin did not have Huang Hao's contact information. Then he remembered that Mobius had previously given Huang Hao a position through her machine. Perhaps she could pass the message to him.

Thus, after using Skyfire to force Angela back, Kevin immediately contacted Mobius and asked her to call Huang Hao over.

After seeing the message, Mobius immediately went to contact him.

From Huang Hao's perspective.

"Ah, this is so difficult." Huang Hao was trying to make a game, one that had once left him sighing in admiration.

As he was writing it with full concentration, a message suddenly came through on his phone.

"I'm here. How did they get the message out? Can Honkai Energy explain everything?" Huang Hao picked up the phone in confusion. "It was sent by Mobius? Well, she really is the only one who has my contact information."

Huang Hao continued reading, and his eyes gradually widened. "What?! How dare this Honkai!" When he saw the message about Angela being corrupted, Huang Hao began teleporting without another word.

He arrived at the location marked by the Moth to the Flame, but before Huang Hao could even ask anything, a cloud of smoke and dust engulfed the area.

Huang Hao waved his hand, and the dust immediately dispersed. At first glance, he saw Angela and Kevin fighting.

Huang Hao immediately rushed over and used the power of the Herrscher of Rock to create a gravitational field around Kevin, blocking many attacks.

Kevin said, "You finally came. You were right again."

Huang Hao said, "There's no need for small talk. I just received a message from Mobius. Sorry to trouble you, but please don't treat her as a Herrscher."

Kevin said, "If we had treated her as a Herrscher from the beginning, I would have already dealt with her. But after what happened last time, we were willing to give it a try."

Huang Hao lowered his head and fell silent for a moment before responding to Kevin. "Thank you. I understand. Leave her to me."

Kevin asked, "Are you sure you want to deal with her alone?"

Huang Hao replied in a tone so calm it was nearly emotionless, "Do you know that last time, I was corrupted because of certain inner demons? It's obvious that Angela's troubles are related to me. This is something I have to resolve."

Kevin nodded in agreement and then left. "I hope you succeed. If you fail, don't force yourself."

Huang Hao said, "Don't worry."

Huang Hao slowly approached Angela. She was being restrained by gravity, and when he got close to her, he became somewhat at a loss.

Right, didn't An'er enter my mental space before? I should be able to try it too.

Huang Hao looked at Angela, who was being forced to kneel on one knee under the pressure of gravity, and felt deeply bitter.

"An'er, don't be afraid. I'll get you out soon." After saying this, Huang Hao crouched down as well, brought his forehead close to Angela's, and closed his eyes, trying to enter Angela's mental world.

Huang Hao replied angrily, "Give An'er back!"

The Honkai Will said, "Hehe, your Angela volunteered for this, you know~"

"What the hell are you trying to do?! Stop being disgusting!" Huang Hao was instantly enraged by the Honkai Will's revolting tone.

"Don't you know what's in your own heart? Don't forget, she has all your memories."

"What do you mean?"

"She knows that she's a substitute from another world of yours, a tool you created."

"No... That's not how it is!"

"Oh? Just because you say it isn't, does that make it so?" The Honkai Will showed Huang Hao no mercy and stated bluntly, "She's always remembered it. She's always remembered."

Huang Hao dodged Angela's attacks in silence. He wanted to refute it, but he could not say a single word.

The Honkai Consciousness added the fatal blow: "It was your selfishness that harmed her."

"Think about yourself. You want to protect everyone, yet you can't even protect your own family. You even harmed her." The Honkai Will continued to fan the flames. "Come on, join us. At least then you can be together, can't you?"

The Honkai Will waited for the space to corrupt Huang Hao on its own, but Huang Hao did not react at all.

The Honkai Will said in confusion, "What's going on?"

Huang Hao said coldly, "After what happened before, I've already understood many things. You won't succeed this time."

"Hmph! You won't be smug for more than a few days. Just look at your own family leaving you!" Seeing that Huang Hao was indeed unaffected, the Honkai Will left after throwing out a threat.

Huang Hao looked at Angela, who had fallen into madness, and sighed. "So you've been bearing so much as well."

Then Huang Hao stopped moving. Facing Angela's attacks, he simply endured them.

"I don't have the extreme love for Honkai that others do, nor am I willing to offer my life to it or become obsessed with it." Huang Hao spoke to himself as Angela's attacks battered him until he was covered in wounds, yet he continued walking toward her.

"As for you, I haven't made many things for you like others have, imagined countless things for you, or stood up for you as much as they did." Seeing Huang Hao slowly approach, Angela began to feel afraid and unleashed her attacks with nearly all her strength.

"I'm also an unqualified father. I had no mental preparation at all. I relied on nothing but a surge of passion, yet I was left with all these consequences." Covered in blood, Huang Hao walked up to Angela. She was clearly frightened and fell to the ground.

Just as Huang Hao stood before Angela, she suddenly asked, "What am I, exactly?"

Huang Hao was clearly stunned when he heard this, but he immediately smiled and replied, "I'm slightly inferior to others in every way, but when it comes to you, I'll definitely keep going. I admit that my previous foolish assumptions were wrong, and I'm sorry for them, but..."

Huang Hao embraced Angela and slowly said, "When you appeared and called me Father for the first time, you became different from everyone else. You are you. You're not a machine, and you're not a substitute."

Crying, Angela carried Huang Hao, who had been severely injured by her mental attacks, on her back and brought him out of the space, returning to the blank area.

Angela set Huang Hao down in the blank space, gave his mind some simple treatment, and then emerged.

Since this Honkai had not yet ended, Angela planned to help resolve it to make up for her mistake. Thus, she returned to the Moth to the Flame...
