Before the words fell, the implication between the strings was already laid bare. How could Laozi fail to hear it? He immediately snorted coldly, seized Primordial Lord of Heaven, and flicked his sleeve as he departed. As he stepped out of the Western sacred ground, the golden lotuses beneath his feet shattered inch by inch. Fury blazed within his heart, blazing hot and difficult to suppress; even if all the cold currents of the Four Seas were poured over it, they could not quench it in the slightest—yet the Buddhist Teachings were destined to rise, as decreed by Heaven's Mandate. No matter how unwilling he was, he could only grit his teeth and swallow it down.
Over there, with the Buddhist sect established, the "Western Teachings" were formally renamed the "Buddhist Teachings." Amitabha Buddha and Zhunti Buddha Mother were bent on spreading the Dharma and resolved to advance eastward, casting Buddha Light across the Eastern Divine Continent and driving straight into the heartland of the eastern Daoist Sect.
The Three Pure Ones of Pangu had long since grown deeply estranged from Sect Master Tongtian of the Interception Sect during the battle of the Myriad Immortals and Myriad Demons Formation.
