"Don't ask directly, we can chat about other things first."

Han Guang said casually.

"Okay," Rin nodded.

"How about I go try?" Obito asked, spitting out the words while swallowing a dumpling.

No one paid him any mind.

After a simple lunch, the squad continued on their way.

During the journey, Rin tried to communicate with Minako again, but still failed.

Minako, on the ox cart, seemed to have no intention of speaking and just stared blankly at the passing woods the entire way.

Night fell.

In front of the campfire.

The four members of the squad gathered around.

It was time for the daily summary.

Kakashi first spread out a map and marked a red dot on the route.

"At our current speed, it will take us five days to leave the Land of Fire and enter the Land of Hot Water."

After all, the speed of the ox cart was what it was; it couldn't possibly go any faster.

Rin spoke second.

"Although Minako still didn't speak this afternoon, I can tell she's hiding something she's not telling us." Rin's tone was serious, feeling that Minako was problematic.

Han Guang had already guessed this when they set out, otherwise, he wouldn't have asked Rin to try and gather information.

Next, it was Obito's turn.

"I have nothing to say. Oh, right, Han Guang, can you lend me two kunai? I forgot to bring mine."

Obito rummaged through his ninja tool pouch, delivering a surprising statement.

"I didn't bring kunai either."

Han Guang's forehead was covered in black lines.

"You didn't bring any either?" Obito didn't believe it.

"What's the point of me bringing kunai?"

"Uh."

Obito scratched his head, feeling that Han Guang had a point.

After all, the guy's kunai throwing accuracy was terrible; bringing them would be useless.

Seeing that Han Guang and Obito had successfully derailed the mission summary, Kakashi was disappointed.

This, perhaps, was the world of the dead last.

"Alright, for tonight's watch, we'll split into two groups. Tonight, Lin and I will be on watch. Tomorrow night, Han Guang and Obito."

As the temporary captain, Kakashi assigned the night watch groups.

However.

His arrangement was destined to fail.

"Why do you get to be with Rin? I don't agree!"

Obito shouted directly.

His voice was so loud that even Minako on the ox cart turned her head to look.

"Then how do you think we should be assigned?" Kakashi stared at Obito and said in a deep voice.

"Of course, I should be with Rin," Obito said, head held high.

"Heh~~" Kakashi let out a cold laugh.

You with Rin?

Is that really about keeping watch?

"We're teammates, don't argue," Rin said softly, trying to mediate.

Unfortunately, it was no use.

Kakashi glared at Obito, and the two stared at each other.

It seemed like they were about to fight.

In her desperation, Rin looked to Han Guang for help.

But to her surprise, she found that Han Guang was also staring intently at someone.

"Hey, Han Guang! They're about to fight, and you're still looking at Minako?"

Tugging on Han Guang's clothes, Rin felt utterly exhausted.

"Oh? Fighting sounds great!"

Han Guang stared intently, continuing his deep gaze with Minako on the ox cart.

He wished Kakashi and Obito would fight.

It would be best if Obito got injured.

That way, he could take the injured Obito back to the village logically and reasonably.

What a shame.

After shouting for a long time, neither of them made a move.

"Obito, you're so disappointing. If it were me, I would have slapped him twice right then!"

Afterward, Han Guang patted his good brother's shoulder, comforting him earnestly.

"But what if Kakashi fought back?" Obito rolled his eyes.

"Then I'd slap him twice more!"

"But I can't beat him."

After a vote by Team 9, Kakashi was forced to change the group assignments.

Thus, Kakashi and Obito were in one group, and Han Guang and Rin were in another.

According to Obito's reasoning, it was "If I can't have it, Kakashi shouldn't have it either."

The next day.

The weather was cloudy with a light breeze.

Stretching, Han Guang first glanced at his status panel.

Obito jumped down from a tree, yawning.

He had been on watch for the latter half of the night and was a bit sleepy now.

"Where's Minako?" Han Guang looked at the empty ox cart and turned to ask.

"Huh? I didn't notice," Obito rubbed his eyes, looking bewildered.
